This handbook is intended for kindergarden groups. It is the result of the author's work at Little Bulgarian School in Chicago as a kindergarden teacher. The workbook is both a study notebook and a coloring book. There are three pages for each letter with fun exercises designed to recognize the letter, to color a picture starting with the corresponding letter and to determine the location of the relevant sound at the beginning, in the middle or at the end of the word. There is a diagnostic test at the end of the book. This handbook does not replace the relevant textbooks intended for kindergarden age groups. It is used together with them to complement and support the education of the children with Bulgarian origin abroad.
