I didn’t find a huge selection of shower (tension) rods that fit a single shower stall width of 35”. This one did, and the price was right. But, because the price was right, I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect. Via Prime my smaller shower rod arrived in just a couple days. This was great news, since my shower door is out of commission. Almost everything I ordered was here within a day or two. I was taking showers in my downstairs bath in a couple days again. The rod itself is very sturdy as of a couple weeks into its use. It’s super easy to figure out: to release and tighten the tension. I didn’t even bother to look for instructions, pretty self explanatory, and I’m a single female. This is the best tension rod I have ever seen or used. The end caps come off easily, allowing you to slide a curtain in, like I did. The rubber ends grip the wall (sheetrock) very firmly. In fact, there's so much pressure applied, I would think this would never come off on its own. The setup is quick and easy: just rotate the tube and adjust to your liking. Turn the rod as far as you like to tighten it once you have it in your desired spot. I was worried the rod would slide off after a while, but the rubber end caps grip the wall so hard, it prevents any sliding. I've had a curtain hanging for like a month now, and it hasn't budged, Yet, all it takes is a quick turn in the right direction in order to loosen and remove it, making it convenient, yet sturdy. You definitely get what you pay for here. The material is like stainless steel, similar to my spoons and forks, so I think it would be resistant to damage. It also doesn't bend or flex in the middle, similar to other cheap, plastic rods. Highly recommended!

We bought this to hope up a very heavy triple layer mohair/crushed velvet type blackout curtain in our stairway landing.Every other tension rod we have tried has failed.This one is by far the strongest and has the extreme advantage of including the over-sized rubber grip end caps.If I ever need to buy another heavy duty tension rod again, I will buy another one of these with no hesitation.

What can you really say about a shower curtain rod? Lol. But honestly, this one is superior to the average that Target or Walmart carry as far as suction to wall and strength to hang clothing. I hung this in our laundry room between the wall and some floor to ceiling cubbies we installed for the kids from Ikea. We hang quite a few items of laundry on it while doing laundry (up to 20 items) and it DOES NOT BUDGE. Perfect for what I needed it for. Very satisfied.

I confess, it seems a little silly to rave about a curtain rod, but this one is exceptional. It was needed to hang a curtain to keep cool air from flowing into an unused part of my house, as I have a room air conditioner and the room had no door. I had tried other spring rods, but they were too weak to withstand the curtain being slid back and forth as people entered and exited the room. This spring rod is sturdy and durable! For those who asked if the rubber ends are removable so curtains can be hung, the answer is both yes and no--the larger outer part is easily removed, but not the smaller white part to which it attaches. I am glad to have found a satisfactory solution to my problem.

I have had this bar for some time now, and it does not budge at all once in place. I believe I put it up two months ago? Nevertheless, it is so sturdy I forgot it was there. I rip the shower curtain open and closed all the time. It took me five minutes to put up and then I went on with my life.

I just received this and already love it!! My last tension rod fell on my head (ouch!). I was looking for something more sturdy, but I was hesitant to drill into the tile. This is the perfect solution! The rubber ends help to grip the walls and the flange helps hold the tension rod at the desired length. Very happy!!
