Dog's new favorite toy!
We have a 100 lb Sheppard mix that loves to tear toys apart. We would get him the KONG tugger knots moose or frog. The Tugger Knot toys last a month or so, but then he finds the stuffing in the head and creates a mess. We ordered the KONG Scrunch Knot Raccoon and the KONG Tugger Knot Moose at the same time. One nice thing about the Raccoon is that it doesn't have stuffing. We were going to visit family and didn't want to have him make a mess in their house if he starts to pull the stuffing out and gave him the Raccoon to try. He loves it! It is his new favorite toy. He can pull on it, chew on it, swing it around and has a great time with it. He and my niece (a teenager) had several long tug of war sessions with it. He did put a tear in the tail and part of the rope was exposed. I tucked the rope back in and he continued to play with it the same as before. The rope has not come out nor did the tail tear more. You would have to look hard to find the hole. He has another toy that has a soft fussy cover that he like to nibble on for some reason. It seems that the Raccoon has a similar fussy cover and he loves to nibble on the Raccoon when he is not being more aggressive with it. He doesn't want to play with any other toys, including the KONG Tugger Moose. When this one wears out, I will definitely get him another one. My only issue is what to do with the new Tugger Moose that he won't play with.

Trying to replace a smaller version
Great but too big for my puppy.

Great Kong toy
Typical quality Kong dog toy. Purchased for my grand dog who chews the butt out of every toy. This one seems durable enough to endure her chewing. My puppy has a small Kong squirrel like this one & she chews constantly & hasn't destroyed it yet. Looks very realistic & nice size for a labradoodle.

My dogs favorite toy
My dog is a super chewer and this is his favorite toy. This is his 4th Coonie and I have to always keep one on reserve (he is only 6 months old). If he cannot find his Coonie our day is going to be bad. So I'm off to find a new one because the current Coonie is looking a little beat up. - Let me be clear, this is one of the FEW toys that can withstand more than 2 days of my dog beating it up, so to me? This toy is awesome, it would be 5 star except that a couple of times the tail area comes undone. But when it does the only thing that comes accessible is a rope tie which he then also plays with. Nothing dangerous for him.

Disappointing Purchase
Very disappointing.........lasted about 5-10 minutes because the knotted rope does not extend into the head of the toy. Once the head was torn, the toy was useless. The dog is medium-sized and is not overly aggressive with her toys. Do not recommend.

Cute, but not for heavy chewer
Adorable toy, and I love the rope inside. For a plush toy, it held up relatively long time for my strong chewer. This lasted a couple tug sessions until the stitches came apart, and the rope came out, but my dog is very strong. I plan on sewing it up because he absolutely loves it and its squeakers. If you have a heavy chewer, I wouldn't recommend letting your dog work on it along.

Not for power chewers
$19 and it did not last one month, and she did not play with it every day. She loved it but got the rope out in 2 weeks. Liked the carcass but was eating it so it had to go.

NO STUFFING
I love these Kong toys because there is no stuffing. I’m always worried with stuffed toys that my dogs will rip them and eat that stuffing. I felt good getting these well made toys for my dogs at such a good price!

Fred has a box of toys but goes looking for Racoon
We bought Fred his first racoon when he was 10 weeks old. He is now 4 years old and on his third. He loves this toy. He has a box of other toys but he will seek racoon out. He literally will go round the house until he finds it. He doesn’t destroy them, they are too robust for that. He just loves them to death. The squeaky head dies first and then despite washing they just smell too much to keep. They are awesome toys. A bargain. We play tug of war with him and he shakes and throws it himself. He is a terrier so quite chewy with toys, but this can take it. We would recommend this. I think the black/white grey must appeal to his vision. So there’s a win there too.

Good
It seems very sturdy which is what I was after. Christmas present for my daughters wiener dog who trashes every toy he gets except the Kong rope toys. They get very beaten up but survive & he seems to like the Kong toys the best.

Super Spielzeug

This is not a chew toy
I have recently received this Kong scrunch knot toy raccoon. Before I made my decision I obeously gone through all the reviewsSome posted bad reviews about this toys as their dogs able to destroy it within an hour or days blah blah...First we have to understand purpose of a toys whether it is made for chew or interactive or fetch etc. This toys I mainly used for teach a dog to fetch or hunt.Toys are stuff free cozy less mass up and a coiled rope inside and a squeaky at its head.It fluffy skinny gives realistic appearance. This toys should be given to dog to play only under supervision. My dog has a tendency to chew at its distraction and its skinny material seems not that tuff to withstand such.
