I keep my fan outside all the time I use a round grill cover to cover it so it won’t rust it puts out a lot of air even on low little noisy but a great fan

The fan sounds like a 747 jet, but it really is wonderful at moving air....if it's on in one room, you can't hear much anywhere else in the house. It's a keeper for us because we wanted a powerful fan.

Q: Is this fan rated for outdoor use? Home Depot has the same fan listed as outdoor rated but I can't confirm it here.

Description says it works in all weather conditions.

My chain never broke, but you can purchase replacement chain from any hardware store for less than a$1
