Emotional and Beautiful
First thoughts:I instantly fell in love with this book, I felt more connected with the characters, they were more reachable. They grew even more, expanding so much that I was able to learn more about the things they kept to themselves in the first book. The storyline was perfect, some things were better explained while new information was introduced. This world was painted even more, the attention to detail was amazing. I loved the fact that we were introduced to even more characters and they were just as important as the 6 we met in the first book. I very much enjoyed the emotions it brought me, I felt everything this time around, I wasn't spared anything. And upon picking up this book to read I took a peak at some reviews on it and found one thing in particular similar; they all talked about the ending, telling how sad it was and upon reading that I really didn't want to reach the end, I loved everyone, I wanted them to excel at everything but life is not like that so I understood what was to come. When I did eventually reach the end which blurred by so fast it took me a moment to take it all in, I found myself crying, I tried not to but the author had connected us to the characters so much that it was near impossible. But in the end I loved every minute of this book and cannot wait till the next one is released.Summary:Now that Krista and the gang know who they are its time to start training. Haniel their archangel comes to them for training, teaching them their responsiblities and what is expected of them. But its in the training that Krista learns more about herself, how she seems to take to learning the things quicker than her other friends. And it is there she learns or starts to learn how the others view her as.But soon things start to quicken with pace, Krista encounters a forgjotten soul, she wants to save her but before she realized what happen she disappeared. But soon enough the gang gets together and discovers a whole net of forgotten souls under the influence of the dark one. Soon they get together to save them but its no easy task, they're going to have to work together to save them before its too late.and to add to their worries Victor Marks dad is back, ready to strike. With the danger close approaching Haniel brings in other guides and protectors to join them, to have a united front. But can they stand together and be strong enough to fight them off? Can they possibly destroy the thing that's been haunting them for so long? or will they lose when it has just begun?Last thoughts:I really enjoyed this whole story, I'm falling in deeper love with the world and characters. I cannot wait till the next installment is released because the feeling I was left with at the end of the story was begging to be released, I need to see a happier ending. But in all this is one book not to miss, Tiffany King has created a world of beauty and grace and it is one to be read late into the night. I would totally recommend it to anyone who loves a good love story, who believes of a higher power and has ever felt a strong bond to a friend. Great book, hope you take the chance to read it, Tiffany King really knows how to create a strong world with 3-d characters. Take a chance on this book, I'm glad I sure did.

Forgotten Souls
What it is about: "Any chance Krista Miller had at a normal teenage life is now gone. Less than a year ago she lived under the radar, avoiding any relationships that would send her emotional sensitivities out of control. Little did she know that her life was destined for something more. Something that will test her very soul."My view: The book is interesting and unique as the first one. All of the characters are back to continue Krista's journey with the addition of several plot twists. The book suffers as with any other middle book in a series of a lack of individuality. Sometimes it is hard to follow the events and may have loved to see more actions during the characters training instead of narration. Overall, the book is good enough for the avid reader. What I liked the most: I enjoyed the relationship between the six main characters and the way they interacted as a group.I wanted more: In this case, I wanted less. The book was great, but the use of the term `forgotten souls' felt overwhelming at times.Who should read it: Every YA reader looking for a quick, but interesting read.* Synopsis taken from Amazon

Even better than the first in the series!
"Forgotten Souls" is a great book. The plot kept me interested, the love stories were fun and (maybe best of all) the steamy scenes were steamy. The story never got too bogged down with the bad things that were happening. Tiffany King did an excellent job of balancing the good with the evil in this one.I found I liked this book even more than I liked "Meant to Be." The characters are maturing and ready to take on their futures. Don't get me wrong, there's still a lot of giggling taking place, but the characters are coming to terms with what their futures hold. I really liked the cliffhanger ending -- I think there's a lot of potential for where the third book could go.I'd like to see a little more of Lynn because she's my favorite character. Lynn comes across as offbeat and confident in herself. I think everyone could use a little of both of those in real life. Her character complements Sam and Krista well.I would recommend this book to someone wanting a twist in young adult paranormal. I think it's appropriate for teens but still interesting enough for adult readers. It's quite obvious Tiffany King is growing as an author. I can't wait to see what she has in store for the next in the series.
