This is a relatively high dose. You get a lot for the money. Warning to those that have GERD or acid reflux. Healing the gut is essential but so is healing the esophagus. Betaine HCL can be corrosive to it. Use with caution, not in the evening or close to bedtime hours. I learned this lesson the hard way and burned my esophagus! Sore throat for days until I realized my error.

It does work, but the rice powder floats on top. I just tested 1 capsule by dumping it in 4 oz of water. The rice powder floats on top of the water so I had to stir it around quite a bit to get it to dissolve. The ph of 1 pill in 4oz of water was between 2 and 3. So it does work, I think the rice powder might be causing issues with it doing its job. People who use this product might have gastroparesis issues and so you may want to move your body around a little to get the betaine to dissolve properly.

Not bad but as it goes with all supplements ridiculously high priced

Works great! My stomach doesn't make enough acid so I take two of them about 15 minutes before meals and they help a lot with heartburn and gas. I've found that they work even better if I take them with about 4 oz. of strong lemon juice.

I really wanted to like this supplement, but after just a few days it caused strong heartburn and discomfort. I contacted the seller for help, but they only told me to stop taking it and refused any refund or proper solution. I’m very disappointed with both the product and customer service. Be careful if you have a sensitive stomach.
