The Illustrated Atlas of Architecture and Marvelous Monuments

Page 34 states that the White House is situated 15 miles from the Capital...that's off by 14 1/2 miles. That decimal point makes all the difference. This book isn't text-heavy, and careless mistakes like this one makes this book lack credibility.

This really interesting book with beautiful graphics would have merited 5 stars had it not been for the typo on page 18. Apparently the Sphinx is "the biggest monumental monolithic SCULTPTURE in the world."
