What this is:This is an 8 ounce bag of black peppercorn. It is a resealable heavy duty plastic bag. They are USDA organic. These are a product of India. Distributed by NHP in Florida.This company uses biodynamic farming. It is Demeter certified which means the farm must meet certain standards.To try it out:I placed the peppercorn in my favorite pepper grinder and I tried this out for about a week. I was happy with the results.Not all peppercorn is the same. My favorite is the kind that I know when I add peppercorn to the dish but the peppercorn does not overwhelm the dish.This peppercorn fits the I know the peppercorn is in the dish but I don't get the heat that some peppercorn brings to a dish. I like this. I was able to use this peppercorn a bit more generously than the other peppercorn I have on hand that I have to use sparingly because it is so powerful.Best example were the scrambled eggs I made. I used a finer grind of the peppercorn. The end result was a pepper that I can taste but not one that became the main flavor of the eggs. There was no heat. There was just the light flavor of pepper.5 stars- this was perfect for me. I like it more than the pepper I have on hand. I prefer the milder peppercorn over the stronger stuff.

I love Dr Mercola's food and stuff. I got this here, when I usually order off his website. Amazon fulfilled it so I'm not blaming him, but it was outdated by around 6 months! Like I said, I love his supplements, but they really should look at the dates before shipping out.

The color of this pepper is more brown than black and the flavor is sweet and fragrant. It smells and tastes fresh. It also grinds well.Overall this is a great black (really brown) pepper. The ingredients are biodynamic organic whole black peppercorns. This is currently not priced but I would expect to pay around $8 for this 8 ounce bag as an online price.

These black peppercorns are certified both biodynamic and organic. Biodynamic agriculture basically goes a step further than organic. It follows a sustainable, holistic approach which uses only organic, usually locally-sourced materials for fertilizing and soil conditioning. You are paying a premium for these biodynamic black peppercorns. Having said that, these are of excellent quality and fresh. The flavor is very good. They have a nice, peppery kick to them. I use some in my cooking and they impart their peppery flavor and heat nicely. They also grind well in my pepper mill. No issues so far.These come vacuum packed in a resealable plastic pouch. They are whole and very clean. Hardly any dust at the bottom of the bag. Product of India. Overall, I'm pleased with the these. The quality is excellent. Good flavor and nice heat. If you value the quality and the environment aspect, these are a good option to have, albeit pricey though.

These are just the perfect Whole Black Peppercorns ! Perfect aroma, color and taste brings out the perfect taste in the food !- Suitable to use whole : I use the whole black peppers in rice, mutton, chicken curry etc.- Easy to grind : Freshly ground peppers are great to sprinkle over food or add to it while cooking !- Various health benefits : black pepper is one of the spices that has multiple health benefits. It can be boiled with tea and it helps to reduce cough and clear the phlegm etc.Overall these organic black peppercorns are packed well; fresh and full of flavor !I would definitely recommend these !

These are quite tasty, fresh, high quality peppercorns. They have all the good certifications, and are perfectly delightful with the exception of the price, which is wildly out of line with what other organic peppercorns are going for. This is an unfortunate feature of other Dr Mercola branded products I've encountered, which are uniformly very high quality while also costing multiples of what other similar products cost. Whomever is running this brand for Dr. Mercola is trying to turn his good name into massively inflated profits. I don't approve.

Pricey? Yes.But is it worth the cost? YES.I’d much rather pay a little more for quality items, over something that’s not as healthy.What I love most is that these peppercorns not only taste great in the grinder, but they’re also a step above the traditional “organic” ones you can get anywhere.I’m a huge Dr. Mercola fan, and fully trust anything his name is on. The quality is always top notch, and this was no exception.Would definitely recommend!

These peppercorns have such a wonderful aroma even before they are ground. Grinding is a pleasure as it released a very strong fresh scent as well as flavor. We’ve tried it in all sorts of dishes and worked perfectly, including dishes for little kids. The organic factor makes me feel happy to share with everyone in the family and biodynamically grown, even better! Resealable bag is always a plus. Made in India.
