Works great with Intel 82599ES, Dell X520-DA2 0C63DV
This review is for the model "10GTEK 10GBase-SR SFP+ Transceiver, 10G 850nm MMF, up to 300 Meters, Compatible with Intel E10GSFPSR". The product worked flawlessly with a Dell X520-DA2 0C63DV that has the 82599ES chip on it. I had used another 10gtek SFP out of my collection, but it would cause the interface to disappear. This module had zero issues, and is quick and easy to install.

Works with my Dell X710-DA2 SFP+ PCI-e cards
This transceiver was plug and play with a pair of Dell OEM Intel X710-DA2 10Gb SFP+ Y5M7N Dual Port Network Cards that I recently purchased off eBay. No issues whatsoever.

Works in Intel X520-2P NIC
Had a generic Fiberstore SFP+ that didn't work in my Intel X520-2P NIC, but this one does. Bonus that this was a better deal and it comes in a neat little metal box.

Works perfectly so far
Asus Rt ax89x, from Optimum Ont, Rj-45 10gb to Asus router roughly 2200 Gbs consistency. This is on 2 gig pipe.

Max Speed, simple Plug and play into one of those ports on my switch I thought was useless to me.
My switch has 2 10 Gig ports I thought I would never be able to use, they were for connecting switches together. Now they are connecting my 2 servers to all of my other devices, with maximum throughput to all of my computers. All I did was add an inexpensive pcie card to the servers and away it all went. Plug and play. Amazon has a return policy, and you could buy them to

Extremely strange problem but outstanding support from 10Gtek
--- Update 12.17.2018---I had a pleasant and very professional conversation with 10Gtek. They immediately offered me a full refund. Their engineering team managed to replicate the problem and are currently investigating. Once the problem is fixed I will update the overall rating to 5 stars.--- Review ---I am having a strange problem with these transceivers and I have no explanation. If you have any idea please share.I have two computers directly connected with these transceivers via 1m fiber cable.Computer "A" is Dell Precision workstation with Intel X520-DA2Computer "B" is Supermicro X9DR7 with Intel X520-DA2Every time "B" gets restarted or powered on, the audio on computer "A" stutters for 1 second and at the same time the picture freezes. It is the most noticeable when watching youtube videos. This happens a second or two after you press the power button on computer "B" - in other words it has nothing to do with the OS on computer "B". On "B" I am running XenServer and I am passing through X520-DA2 to one of the VMs. The moment I power on this particular VM the problem appears again - the sound stutters and the picture freezes for a second on computer "A". I did dozens of restarts and power ons/offs and got really frustrated. The moment I unplug the fiber cable from the transceiver and there is no stutter. I don't even have to unplug the transceiver from the network card. The moment I plug the fiber cable back in and the problem returns. Although the 10Gb communication works between both computers and although I will not be restarting the server very often, the stuttering audio and frozen picture is unacceptable for me.After a month I decided to see what will happen if I use Passive Direct Attach Copper cable. Got one from the same seller (10Gtek) and same length - 1m. And to my surprise I no longer can reproduce the issue. It looks like the DAC cable solves my problem. The question is why?Unfortunately I cannot return the transceivers since one month has already passed.I will gladly update the review and the rating if someone gives me an explanation and a solution.

Works with Intel 810XXV and Ubiquiti usw-pro-aggregation
This is a review of the 10Gtek 25GBase-SR (100m) SFP28 transceiver. Intel-coded version. Part #: AZS85-S28-M1. It comes in a 10Gtek-branded metal container, safely padded.I originally bought one Intel-coded unit to use with my Intel 810XXV SFP28 nic. Having also tried it on my Ubiquiti usw-pro-aggregation switch, it works over there too! No need to pay for expensive Ubiquiti SFP28 transceivers! At $20 each, they're a great value over their competitors at $40-50 each.Be sure to upgrade the firmware on both the switch and the NIC. Otherwise, the link may not establish at 25G speeds. For the Ubiquiti switch, I'm on 6.5.59. For the Intel 810XXV nic, I'm on NVM 4.20.

Works with Intel x520 10gx2 NICs
I took a chance and got the Intel compatible SKU. To my surprise, I was able to use this SFP optic in with the overly-picky Intel x520 10gx2 NICs without issue. I had been previously limited to DACs, so this was a welcome result. Would recommend highly, especially for the price.

Impressed, good product
This module negotiated at 10G at the SFP+ side and 2.5G at the RJ45 side like I wanted. Works perfectly and it's nice because most SFP+ NIC does not support 2.5G so this transceiver is really useful for speed conversion. In my case it's not becoming too hot but I have good airflow. I'm impressed about the price and the quality of this module and I will buy more for sure. I find these module to be similar to 'fs' ones.

Doesn't works with Intel x520-DA2 and 2.5G network
Edit2: after some more time I can confirm this is not working with Intel x520-DA2. The port flapping issue persisted with this transceiver, but another from FS works perfectly.Edit: it started to do a lot of port flapping when downloading things. First weeks I didn't do much downloads so I didn't notice it. I'm getting another brand and will update this in case that works.I've been using this for a couple of weeks in my server and it works as expected.
