Are these shirts actually waterproof?

No, not waterproof but sweatproof. The material allows skin to "breath" through , thus no sweat stains.

I am 6'3" and 180 pounds usually wear large but sleeves are often short. Are the sleeves normal length, run short, or run long?

Hi.............I fricking love these T's/Shirts. Wear them all the time even when it's warm outside. I am 6' even @ 189lbs and I buy large and the fit is perfect w/ the sleeves being about 3" too long. I am always pulling my sleeves up but when down to my wrists they do have about 3" more length. I have these in so many colors. They wash/dry perfectly, never shrink, never fade. I do always wear a tank under cause it looks sexy. W/ the lighter colors I always wear a black tank under. Very cool. They also make the best work/out hiking pants in all sorts of colors. I wear a medium in those. Don't wash hot and don't bake em when you put in dryer. The sweat/jogger pants I never put in dryer cause I like the cool sheen. I think a large in the shirt is perfect for you and a large in the joggers as well as you are 3" taller Lemme know how it works for you.
