Very Useful Automotive Oscilloscope
This oscilloscope is great! I don't know a ton about oscilloscopes, but the menus and buttons on this one are pleasantly intuitive. If you buy, note that the wifi is very basic - it only supports the 2.4Ghz frequency band and WPA2 or lower security. I recommend setting up a new SSID just for this and maybe some other connected tools (and on a separate subnet from your higher security devices, if you can). The user guide is an app found on the home screen (this uses an Android OS). The user guide is well done and describes all of the automotive presets very well. If I had one suggestion, though, I would like to see the translation to English done better. So far it seems to do it's job well, but I have just started using it. If I run into any issues in the future, I will revise this review.

Great automotive scope and picoscope alternative
Great automotive scope and a great Picoscope alternative. Having everything setup in a tablet makes setup a lot quicker and saves time rather than having a scope module, laptop, etc. Wish it came with a paper manual to reference but it does have a manual built into the tool you can reference and a manual can also be downloaded from Micsig's site. The only real downside I can say is the fact it doesn't come with a case but I purchased a hard pelican style case on here for $60 and it took 15 minutes to cut out the foam and have a perfect fit. The readings from the scope itself are accurate while the supplied probes do work well id recommend getting some with a bit more insulation to pick up less back ground noise. Still getting used to all the features and where some settings are but its fairly easy to pickup if you have any prior scope experience. I will update after I've had it for a few more months.

Powerful scope at reasonable price
I am just learning to diagnose cars with a scope. Purchased a small inexpensive 2204 picoscope but was not liking carrying laptop and everything around. Wanted something portable and decent that didn’t cost $3k. This is portable and much more affordable and you still get 4 channels and the full power of other scopes. A few things to realize. It connects easily to Wi-Fi but it will not connect to 5g Wi-Fi. Also, the test leads are great but they are only about 4ft so you may have to purchase longer leads for some diagnostics. But otherwise it’s a great scope that is more portable than laptop connected scopes. Also, ignore the bubble in the top screen of my pics. I messed up the plastic screen protector that caused the Bubble. It’s not a crack.

this is not a 5 star product
I wanted to write this while it's was fresh and will write a bigger review long term. The wifi will not work (only on my phones hotspot so far), the save to flash drive is buggy and also does not work the way it should. There is a work around after watching YouTube videos (total bs to have to do that) no soft case is super cheap if any manufacturer not to supply with anything. The banana probe bcms are ok but short. You will need adapters to add multimeter leads as that is mostly what I own and it'll add the needed length in wire. There is a lot of redundancies with the features and it needs an update for software glitches I doubt it will ever get this late in the game. Is it a good entry level scope? Yes. Be very mindful it's only a cat 1 which is pretty bad for safety, they do not want you taking floating measurements with this thing over 30vrms which is a huge bummer. I looked over all their products in hopes of finding at cat 3 rated scope, it doesn't exist for micsig. The sato is a better value than the sto. It has more presets and comes with more leads. It's great to have 4 channels but with its safety rating you are going to have to buy additional differential probes or attenuators to take measurements on anything outside of automotive or simple circuits. My initial impression of this scope is it's is ok at best with no support on the manufacturers side. the apps for secondary control feel like you are downloading a virus or malware because you have to do it 3rd party and is sketchy. There are great features on the scope with high screen resolution which matters. With some updates and cleaning up if software this could be a very capable scope. I don't know if this is open source but I feel some capable users would be able to flash and fix bugs on this things software and upload the patches in the web. the universal probe interface is also no longer available on the scope bnc ports. Some stuff just doesnt make sense on these.
