The Official SAT Subject Test in Mathematics Level 2 Study Guide

The Official SAT Subject Test in Mathematics Level 2 Study Guide by the College Board is the real deal, and an essential part of any serious prep for Math 2: while there are other places to find official Math Level 2 practice tests online, this book is the only place to find 4 official SAT math tests in print. It also includes advice about the Math 2 exam and the Subject Tests in general, as well as relatively detailed answer explanations of each question, and score conversion tables for all 4 tests.The SAT Math Level 2 Subject Test is a very challenging exam taken by only the best of math students. You can earn a perfect 800 score with about 5 or fewer (out of 50) wrong, and a perfect 800 is "only" 79th percentile due to the high level of competition. Like the SAT itself, you will need to take the Math 2 test seriously, because it's written in a different style than SAT math, and tests slightly different content, so it takes a different approach to achieve an elite score.Good luck on your SAT Math 2 Subject Test and beyond!-Brian

This book was pretty helpful but it's important to keep in mind that it only has practice tests. You may want to get another book along with it (maybe Barron's or Princeton Review) to help with concepts.

This book has four official practice tests (all tests from past years) and it teaches you how to score yourself based on how others did. It has been very helpful with studying, although it doesn't give many practice problems and if you don't understand something, you most likely will need to search it up or get another book that explains the concepts to you. The explanations are sometimes convoluted, but are overall helpful and tell you why you may have gotten an answer wrong.

My two daughters used this book along with Chung’s book 12 days before the test. One scored 800, one scored 780. I wish I got the book earlier for them. Below is the review from them.It is a good indicator of the difficulty of the real SAT math2 test. But there is not a lot practice questions. You can use this book as diagnostic and evaluation of progress. But you will need other books to get more practice on your weak point.

The book arrived in good condition and fits its purpose

A must-have if you're prepping for the Math 2 Subject Test. These are the only OFFICIAL tests you're gonna get, so squeeze every last bit of juice out of them.Credit where credit is due to The College Board. They used to publish one book that contained two tests for Math 2 and two tests for Math 1. Now they publish two books (one for each test) with four tests per book.

The cover of the book has a tear,had some pen/ pencil indents on the cover too.

This book contains four tests by the official test makers, which is the only way to get practice with the actual questions and get a feel for the test. It also provides explanations, but they contain errors and sometimes take the harder approach, so I recommend getting a tutor or looking for alternative explanations.

It is a good book, but not for studying for the SAT subject test. It gives you info about it, sample and practise test questions. If you want study material, you'll have to buy separate books.
