I am so glad that I bought this grater which I mainly use to make coleslaw or to grate my cheese. It takes all the hard work out of grating. It is also very easy to assemble and to take apart in order to wash. I have'nt tried the slicer yet for cucumber and fruit but I will get around to it soon. I catch the food in my pyrex pudding basin which fits underneath the funnel perfectly and it does'nt leave any mess at all outside the basin itself. It is so fast and is definitely one of my best buys!

Works well, but louder than my power drill. Also possible to absent mindedly turn it on while your hand is in it (not great.). Aside from this it's been very handy as I have a disability., and this makes grating large batches easy

Tefal used to make a very similar product to this that we had for many years. This was bought as the nearest equivalent. But it is like a very hench and very angry larger brother. This thing is really really noisy and could probably make wood-chips out of soft timber (sorry that last piece is a joke). It works fine. Does a good job. Just be prepared for the noise!

Quite noisy but does get the grating done quicker and easier than by hand. Fairly easy to clean as all the parts come apart so no struggling to get into hard to reach spaces.

On the expensive side but worth every penny. Should have got this long ago instead of struggling to grate on a normal grater. Great product.

Bought for grating parmesan (hard) cheese and occasionally cheddar. Although I thought it would grate hard cheese faster than it does, it is quicker than using a manual grater and of course less effort to get finely grated parmesan. You need to read the instructions and make sure you use the correct cutter/grinder assembly appropriate for the food. The grater parts are dishwasher safe so easy to clean. But it is probably not far off the noise level of our vacuum cleaner! Perhaps this seemed worse as we had a sizeable batch to grate so it was on quite some time.
