The best option thus far
I hate tampons so I really wanted to find an alternative. This disc is better than the previous one I tried (Flex Disc. That one had no tabs and was single use). Keep in mind that these take practice and they're messy AF so only remove it in your home until you can figure out what works for you. I love the hook/loop to aide in removing this disc, but y'all, it's a damn massacre getting this thing out so do it in the shower! The first time I took this out, it was in the bathroom squatting over my pants and omg that was the absolute wrong way to do this. It got EVERYWHERE. The next time, I took it out in the shower and it was so much better!! Once it's in and it's in correctly, it's great!! You don't feel it at all. I'm gonna sleep in it tonight for the first time and will update my review. EDIT: My first night using this disc and woke up dry as a bone. Not a drop of blood anywhere! I decided to try taking the disc out while sitting on the toilet and that made a lot more sense than squatting in the shower every time I want to remove it. Removal was mess free and I was able to dump the contents right into the toilet. Super easy and I'm hoping this is always this easy because I'm done with tampons! Make sure you insert it with the tab right under your pubic bone though, otherwise you'll struggle getting the disc out. EDITING AGAIN TO ADD: Ok ladies, this thing definitely takes practice but it is worth it! This is my second period using it and this time is going much smoother than the last time, so you just have to figure out how this works best for you. I love that you can put it in and not worry about it for up to 12 hours. The easiest way I'm finding it take put it in is to fold it in half with the tab facing outward, squatting down, insert it then stand up to finish inserting it behind the pubic bone. Staying in a squatting position will make it harder for insertion. To take it out, do it while on the toilet, lean back a bit, reach for the tab and pull it out. Empty contents into the toilet and wash it out. I'll agree with others that the double rim is unnecessarily thick which makes it a bit difficult to fold up and shove up there, but it gets done. You just have to know when to angle up or down. 4TH AND FINAL EDIT: I'm over a year in on using these. Invest the time to get used to these and you won't regret it. Taking them out and putting them in have become second nature. I don't feel them. I don't leak anywhere. They're amazing. I'm even adding a star to my rating.

Love This Product! Recommend For Every Person That Has A Period!
I want to start off this review by saying that I dont normally leave reviews, but this product has changed my life. I bought the 2 pack of small and regular discs hoping for some type of financial relief from having to buy tampons and pads and to be more eco friendly. I also bought the eco blossom menstrual cups but found that the discs were a better fit for my body. My flow is so heavy that I was put on birth control to lighten it and I still went through a box of Ultra Tampons every cycle. I would often times find myself worried about not changing my tampon in time and getting stains on my clothes, ever since I have been using these discs, I have not had to worry about it at all. I have had these disc for a few months now and I even went through a irregular period cycle while switching birth controls last month. I had my period for almost a full month and never once worried about stains or changing my tampon in time to not get TSS. I have confidently worn white multiple times while using these discs and this product has never failed me. I have noticed that my severe cramps have lessened, I do not bloat as easy, and I am in an overall better mood throughout my period ever since trying this product. I’m not sure if it’s the lack of chemicals in the tampons that I’m no longer using or what but I love it. If you have been debating trying out a disc or a cup, get these eco blossom ones. They are so affordable and are actively saving me money and pain. I have recommended this product and brand to all of my friends and family with periods, and even some of the friends and family members that have a significant other that has a period as a gift idea. These discs are so comfortable, leak free, easy to use, and easy to clean. I do not feel the least bit dramatic by saying that this product has changed my life for the better. So a note to everyone, buy this product. And a note to eco blossom, keep doing what you’re doing, you’re amazing and thank you!

This was the right one for me
I have tried many kinds of menstrual cups, discs, etc, over the years. I have frighteningly heavy periods. Cup style and shape works ok. But moves around a bit too much and still leaks enough that I need extra protection. I use bambody period underwear, and they are wonderful. All the different types of discs i have tried had similar result but better. A disc just seems to work better for me over all. The problem i had with them is that they were too soft. Didn't stay expanded like they should. So i attempted to look at different types for one that looked a bit thicker, more substantial with a bit tougher ring. Much to my absolute delight these were perfect. I want to give some... maybe it won't for you advice though. You can feel this disc a bit more than others. Because it stays expanded well and presses a bit on the sides of your vaginal canal. I am more than willing to trade being able to tell it's there, for not needing three pairs of period panties a day for back up. And it's a bit harder to get out. Again i put 4 starts for easy to remove because for me.... this is the right balance of STAYS PUT, and takes a bit more effort to remove. If you have never used a menstrual cup or disc before and you try this one first, just know, it's fine. You will get it. But you will have to tug a bit. One of the advantaged of menstrual discs is that they tend to empty when you go pee. Meaning you don't have to remove and re insert so much because it's emptying itself. This one is EXCELLENT at that for me. The truth is that while this one is PERFECT for me, it might not be for you. I wanted to provide enough information to help you determine that. But if you have tried discs before, still got leaks, found them too flimsy, this might be the winner you were looking for.

Great but beware of wrong measurements
This disc has been super great so far. I have the hello disc which is a bit too big for when my cervix is lower (yes, the height of the cervix changes during your cycle) and this one is slightly smaller and a better fit for those times. The loop makes it easier to pull out and it seems sturdy enough to not rip. Sometimes the loop can be annoying while inserting so I flip it inside out. The only issue I had was the measurements. It’s wider and shallower than it says. Instead of a diameter of 2.5 inches it’s 2.63 and instead of a depth of 1.5 it’s 1.26. It might not seem like much but it makes all the difference. Update: the hello disc is actually pretty similar in size with this disc actually being slightly larger which is weird because the only reason I got this one is because I had trouble with tucking the hello disc despite cutting the first loop and thought a smaller disc would fit better. I don’t have that tucking problem with this one though. I thought maybe this disc is softer but to me they both have similar softness and are both spherical. I also can’t auto dump with the hello disc but can with this one on command. I don’t have a clue why they perform so differently while being so similar. If anyone can explain I would love to know. Both are great but this one is cheaper. Go with this if you’re still trying to decide which disc is right for you

If only the tab was better?
I don’t want to use this one again. I have the other one, from this seller, with the string thing. But I found the string too stretchy and I worried it would eventually break. And the string thing was a bit uncomfortable. So, I “upgraded” to the one with the loop. I was so excited for it. But it has a serious flaw that has happened to me twice now. One, might be an issue with myself where it seems to be tight in there and suctions deep inside right up to my cervix and I can’t get it out. Just grab the loop, you say? I would have loved to. However, that little sucker is curved and it folded in on itself so the loop disappeared. I had nothing to grab onto. I couldn’t get my finger to the edge of the lip, nothing, it was too far up. Last time, I think the auto dump feature worked and I was able to grab the rim and pull it out. This time, I had to get my husband to retrieve it for me since the auto dump feature wasn’t working. That’s a best friend/awesome husband for you! But, truly, I don’t recommend this one anymore. That tab, even though it’s on there securely, is flimsy and folds in towards the disc so it’s between the tab and the disc and it just disappears. The “O” shape turns into a “C” shape (since the O is folded in half), rendering it useless. It was a nice idea that I wanted to have work. But, it didn’t.

Good for test-driving discs
The Ecoblossom disc with a loop is a white label disc. Ecoblossom is only one on Amazon offering this design in a small size. When I purchased this disc (in small- 60mm- purple) in December 2022, this was the only disc I could find anywhere that was a small size disc with a loop. This disc design is, frankly, a mess of features thrown into a disc with little understanding of what they do and how they work. My three-star rating is based purely on how terrible this disc is designed. Let's go through this disc: - RIM - it has what's called a double rim, meaning two rim loops fused together. It's firm (3.5 on Period Nirvana's scale, about the same as a Saalt or Hello disc) and moderately springy. The double rim design is copied from Nixit and Ziggy, the first two reusable discs on the market who use the double rim design. I have never figured out WHY anyone thought this double rim design is a good idea. I've found some marketing language calling it "leak-proof" but that's a lie, since leaking doesn't have much to do with this rim shape. It's just a pain to clean in the groove between each "rim." - LOOP - the loop is a great idea to add to a disc, in general. But the way it's implemented here... it's attached to the BASIN, not the rim, for one. Sure, let's attach the piece that will regularly get pulled at and attach it to the thin basin instead of the thick, sturdy rim. The basin potion that the loop is attached to is thicker than the rest of the basin, likely to compensate for this. The loop also has a really thick base. Unnecessarily thick. So thick that if they attached it to the rim, you likely wouldn't be able to pinch that part of the rim at all for insertion (which I guess is why they put it on the basin). It already makes that part of the rim a bit harder to pinch in its current position. The thick base makes sure that the loop curves against the basin and goes nowhere else. This makes the loop harder to find and loop your finger through for removal. There's also a random indent on the bottom of the loop. It almost looks like they stole the loop design straight from a soda can or elsewhere and just pasted it as is into this disc design. Genuinely don't know why it's there. For grip? Did the designers expect you to pinch the loop with forefinger and thumb instead of sticking your forefinger through the loop? The sides of the loop are quite thin and have a bit of stretch. I have doubts as to how long the sides of the loop can last before it snaps. - BASIN - The portion of the basin underneath the loop is visibly thicker and darker than the rest of the basin. It looks bad. It just looks so bad and really cheapens how this disc looks as a whole. You can't really see in the photos because they never position the disc straight on to see how this basin looks. The rest of the basin is somewhat transparent, and the thick part of the basin is not. The thick basin exists pretty much to ensure the integrity of the basin as you pull the loop to remove the disc. - BAG - it comes with a shiny satin bag that constantly left strands of thread on the disc until I flipped it inside out and washed the crap out of it. The bag feels cheap - I wouldn't be surprised if it was polyester instead of cotton. I may flame-test this one day to find out for sure. Now, does this disc work as a disc? Sure! It's not pretty, but it'll work just fine. I unfortunately never really gave this disc a fair shot. The first time I used it, I found that I could feel it when sitting down. I thought this meant that this size was the largest I could use. In retrospect, I inserted it incorrectly that time. I tried it again later on for one day and it was perfectly comfortable. However, I have other discs to try and use, so this one never got put back into rotation, especially not with the threat of having to wash the grooves in the rim. IMO, the strength of the Ecoblossom discs is to try out reusable discs at a low cost to determine if the idea/size/feature will work for you. Their regular size is 65mm, if I recall correctly (not sure why they removed this info from the listing - it's important information!) which is a good medium size to start with. There are far better disc designs out there, even among white label discs. But small round discs with a loop are still pretty rare, so this disc is still worth checking out if you think that's where your best fit might be.

Almost perfect
This is my first time using a menstrual disc, and I've used it for two cycles now. The disc is easy to insert and remove. I thought I would have trouble with it, but it's actually pretty intuitive. Now that I've had experience using a menstrual disc, I definitely prefer using a disc over a cup. When I used a cup, I could never completely figure out how to properly position it so that there wouldn't be leakage. Half of the times I inserted a cup, I would have so much leakage that you'd think there wasn't a cup in there at all. I always needed a pad or a liner just in case. With a disc, basically the entire area of your cervix is covered, so there's no leakage. It's wonderful having the peace of mind knowing that my panties won't be drenched in blood just 15 minutes after inserting it. I would actually give this menstrual disc a 4.5 rating if I could. And the only reason it's not a 5 is because removing the disc is very messy. This isn't because this cup is worse compared to others, I think it's just the natural physical limitations of the design. Because the disc is basically in a tilted position when you pull it out, the blood naturally spills out. For me, I'm willing to deal with that. But if period blood pouring on your fingers every time you pull it out is too unpleasant for you, I would suggest you find a menstrual disc that has a design to prevent spilling when removing the disc. I know the Diva brand has a disc with a design like that, but it's like $35.

NEVER GOING BACK!
NEVER GOING BACK to anything else! I stopped using tampons years ago. went to pads. then a combo of pads and disposable discs. now I have this reusable menstrual disc in Colors. LOVE IT! little to no cramps, no uncomfortable wet feeling, and its 12 hours usage. I love this thing! 10/10 recommend. I got the size regular cause I've had a child (based on their recommendations I should get a regular) and it's perfect. don't hesitate. if you have never used a disc before it is a slight learning curve at first. but once you do it a couple times its super easy and convenient to use. it comes with directions.

Good value and comfortable
Two discs for £14.99 on prime was the best value option I could find on amazon. These are oval silicon discs which are 7cm long 6.5cm wide and 4cm deep. They are soft and I experience no uncomfortable suction effect. The rim is more rigid so it's easy to fold and insert, and also stays rigid for emptying. It's a little thick to insert so you may need to use lubrication. I love the ring pull to get these out. They are soft and the material is flexible. They are a little big for me even though I have a high cervix. The end can slip out a little during the day and give me a bit uncomfortable feeling, but I think this is a sizing issue. I've not experienced any leaking with these, even if I'm coughing, laughing, or working in the garden. They are good value and if used for a long time, they are good for the environment too Recommend.

Game changer.
I was so scared to use this item. I've put it off for ages. Today was the day and after a YouTube tutorial I did it. It was easy and worked the first time. I put the tab in the wrong way but I still easily got it out without the tab. I located my pubic bone pretty easily, I honestly was not sure I was capable but it's right there you can't miss it. I would highly recommend this to women with mobility issues, reach issues, plus sized women. Women who can only use applicator tampons. It's been 6 hours and leak free so far.

Best Ever!
The rim is definitely firmer than any previous discs I’ve used, so if you think this would cause you pain then you may want to pass. I bought the smaller version and that firmer rim has made these the first discs that I’ve ever had 100% confidence that they’ll stay leak free all day. Softer versions have always had the possibility of untucking from behind my pelvic bone if I sneeze or something, but these stay firmly in place. Getting the correct size I think is probably more crucial with this disc than other softer ones, for a comfortable and secure fit. I’ve just ordered another two so I have plenty of spares for years to come.
