This is not a bad light by any stretch. It looks quite good and the shade is very nice. I have ordered a replacement to see if the second light has a flimsy shade mount like this one. It’s a bit lopsided and is oddly flexible where it connects. The lampshade came with some type of greasy substance on it. However, it looks fine after cleaning it thoroughly. Although I realize this was clear in the listing, the light is just on and off. I would prefer to couple the old school charm with a dimming switch. I’ll play around with different wattage bulbs first and maybe will replace with a dimmable version. If the replacement lamp doesn’t have the shade mount issue, this is a very solid light that looks great. If you are ok with the limitations of a non-dimmable unit, you will like this lamp.

This product is worth its money. I like the design (it looks even better natural than on the pictures). It is quite heavy, but it provides a very good stableness. The lamp is a perfect hight. When light bull cover gives a nice smooth green color and protects you to be dazzled by the bulb. However, you can adjust the light bulb cover to your liking. Lamp is turned on or off via the chain what is very handy. The lamp was delivered fully assembled.

I've always admired the old fashioned green glass banker lamps, and now I own one, and, much as I am not an habitual product reviewer, this one is a winner! I just love the ease of use, the pleasing design and above all the cool and calm light it throws on my desk.
