I was in the midst of a SSD drive upgrade on my MacBook Pro and needed to get the back cover off. To open a MacBook and remove the SSD will require a special screwdriver (T5 and T2) that is well made. This is exactly what I needed and worked perfectly. The cost of these is more than reasonable. The size of these worked great to use the proper down force to make sure you don't strip the screws. Make sure you use the exact fit for your computer or else you may strip the screws. These were more than durable for me and are now going to sit around until I play with the MacBook Air of my college student. Good luck to those "do it yourself-ers". No need to pay anyone to do these sort of simple upgrades. I was glad to use aOWC Aura SSD (https://amzn.to/2HOJoeM) for mine. The product is very useful for the purpose I used it for , replacing a battery in a laptop computer. The sizes of the screwdrivers were spot on. Great value.

The screwdrivers feel a bit light and low quality in the hand, but they work fine for basic repairs. Good for occasional use.

Good quality and magnetized screwdrivers, I used it for a Macbook Air A1466 2013. To address some of the other reviews saying they stripped out their screwdrivers, I think it's due to two possible reasons. - The first being you have to always use the largest possible screwdriver for the screw. For example, the pentalobe screwdrivers on the bottom of the Macbook Air case COULD be loosened with the 1.2mm, but the 1.5mm is a tighter fit and should be used. -The second reason is just excess force, these are tiny screws and tiny tools, just be careful and apply pressure into the screw-head as you turn.

Situation: you drop your MacBook Air on the floor, and when you pick it up, it's making a bizarre noise. A noise like an alien is now living inside of it. Of course, it's 2020 and every Apple Store is closed. So you call your local computer repair story. "Hi there, my MacBook is making a strange noise--it sounds like the fan got dislodged somehow. It should be a quick fix." Response: "Yeah, it will take 2 to 3 days to diagnose the problem, and then once we figure out if we can fix it, it will take another few days for repairs." Great, I didn't want my computer for a week or anything. Not wanting to go analog for a fortnight, I decided to try repairing it myself. This is a risky decision. I once put a hole in my wall the size of a quarter trying to hang a whiteboard. My wife, ever confident, cringes as I search for repair kits on Amazon. I happen upon this screwdriver set for $7.99--perfect! I order it, and it arrives the next day, 3x as fast as it takes to diagnose that the fan is making a noise in my computer. The screwdriver set fits the screws on the bottom panel of my MacBook, and the handy magnet keeps me from losing my screws. I open the back, and being the shrewd mechanic that I am, I see that the vanity plate covering the fan has been bent down in the computer's tumble. The fan is catching on the plate and producing the Area 51 sound effects. I can bend it back, I just need...the tiny plastic crowbar that comes with the screwdriver set! 30 seconds later, and my computer is fixed. My wife is pleasantly surprised but still slightly skeptical. My parents are rightfully proud of me. Even the dog seems impressed. If you want to avoid the new auto repair shop, the local computer repair shop, pick up this screwdriver set.

This product allowed me to take apart an old I-phone that wouldn’t take a charge. I needed to wipe out the storage before I recycled it. The tools were good quality, sturdy & easy to use & were the perfect fit to take apart the phone. I highly recommend this tool due to its ease of use & quality.

was able to make it by but bought these specialty screw drivers to work on a mac and just taking out the screws for the case the one that i needed the head had stripped off because of how tight the case screws were. So my only complaint is durability, was able to make it by with them, but almost worth the money to buy a more expensive set and hopefully it wont happen to anyone else!

Sono rimasta soddisfatta, all'interno ci sono tutte le viti necessarie per la rimozione dei componenti del macbook air (il mio è un mid 2013). Utili anche gli accessori ad esempio quello per magnetizzare/smagnetizzare le punte dei cacciaviti, funzione molto utile dato che le viti sono piccolissime.
