JUNK! do not believe all of the good reviews. after using these for about two months, silicone pieces are breaking off. they look nice when you take them out of the box but after just a little use they begin to fall apart! this is why i ALWAYS wait to review a product until after I have used it for a bit.

These utensils come packaged in a very nice box that includes information on caring for them on the leaflet inside. They seem very sturdy. They are heavy enough to get a good grip, but no so heavy that your wrist hurts while using them (I have carpal tunnel). You CANNOT put these in the dishwasher. It’s clear in the care instructions AND based on other reviews that the bamboo handles can’t handle the dishwasher. I wash them by hand and they dry up fine. Since they’re silicone, they’re very easy to clean and don’t require much scrubbing. Also, notable...this isn’t a flimsy and thin silicone. It’s a thick and sturdy silicone that can hold heavy foods. I haven’t noticed any staining on mine yet, either. Nor have they taken on the flavors of the foods I’ve cooked (this is my most common fear with silicone). I think I’m going to get rid of a lot of my other, older cooking utensils since this is a very complete set.

This set looks very attractive and most of the included utensils are awesome. The handles are very thick, so if you need to put them in a small container or something they probably won't fit. They've held up well to being left in water in the sink. I've seen no degradation caused by that. We don't run our dishwasher very much (with only two of us hand washing is just easier), but I have put them through it two or three times. They've been fine, but I can't say how they'd hold up to constant dishwasher runs. I like how all of the utensils feel when you use them for cooking/baking EXCEPT the spatula. The spatula is ridiculous. It's so insanely thick. I've grabbed it a few times, determined to make it useful, but end up giving up and grabbing a real spatula. I just don't understand what such a thick spatula could be used for. I do have a few other spoons and spatulas but, even if I didn't, I think I could get by just fine with only the ones included in this set. So I'd say that this set could be one that doesn't need to be supplemented with additional utensils, except for that darn spatula.

Ugh, I should have read that they AREN'T DISHWASHER SAFE. (sorry for the all caps, trying to get others to notice too, haha). We love them but the handwashing is annoying. Price, quality, and style all are 5 stars but durability might be questionable if water can damage the handleUpdate April 2020: After only ever hand washing them the bamboo handles eventually cracked and the heads came off the most used utensils. The spoontula, while awesome, was the first to go. The silicone broke apart at the tip and we had to fish it out of a soup (not an easy task!). They lasted for about a year, which isn't horrible for the price but I'd suggest investing a bit more in something not made of wood for heavily used utensils. Edited nearly one year later - I recommend hand-washing as the wood handles on a couple of these have split and splintered and had to be thrown away. They looked and worked great for awhile and probably would have lasted longer staying out of the dishwasher. Not a deal-breaker, but something to be aware of.Perfect! Quality of these utensils is better than expected. We almost bought some similar at a retail store and I'm glad I waited on these. They are much nicer, sturdier, and were a bit cheaper too! We've used them a few times and they work perfectly.

I’ve loved these utensils until suddenly the ladle, (which gets dried thoroughly and doesn’t sit in water) grew a bunch of mold. After washing the mold is in the handle and cannot be cleaned. I am very disappointed as I’ve loved this set and have been gentle with them.

I love this set! There's a spatula of sorts that seems custom made for making kefir. After about a month's use one of the handles developed a long crack, even though we hand wash these as advised. I contacted the seller and they shipped an entire new set to me within a week! Impressive customer service from Lively Home Goods, thank you so much!I have since begun coating the handles with mineral oil, which they soak up readily.

We use these all the time and they are very sturdy.We've used these for 18 months and still holding strong. In past experience the pan fry turner usually gets deformed due to the heat, but this one seems to be hanging in there pretty well.
