If you’re looking for a tennis net that’s solid, sturdy, and ready to take on the “grand slams” of your neighborhood (whether that’s your kids playing or a slightly out-of-shape adult trying to relive their high school tennis glory days), this one’s a winner. It’s built to last, it does its job, and it’ll make you feel like you’re hosting the US Open in your own backyard. (Or at least your neighbors will think so.)

Very high quality
I got this net on a whim, thinking I'd set up a rudimentary tennis court in my backyard. I was looking for a realistic net that I could use to practice serving. After measuring approximate tennis course dimensions I worked on installing the net. WIthout anchored posts, it was not easy, but I was able to get it in a position that was realistic enough for practice. Overall though, I would probably not recommend this for backyard use, as it's a pretty big footprint and requires a lot of effort to tension it. It is a very solid, high-quality net and I ended up donating it to the local high school since I use their courts all the time.

The Real Deal!!
This isn't a "portable" net for setting up on your dreiveway or backyard. It's a serious net for standars outdoor courts with in the ground steel posts. You find nets like this on public and private courts around the world. The differences show up in the size of the netting - 3.5mm as opposed to cheaper 2mm - reinforced corner ropes, coated steel wire and double stiched tape top and bottom. Cheaper nets fade in sometimes just a season, but this one from VANCL is an investment that will last you for many years. OVERALL - High quality tennis net that comes with two fibergalass posts. Keeper!
