Perfect fit, arrived early, simple installation
Fits perfectly and arrived a couple days early. I had seen some reviews say the phone hose between the you bend and the sink was shorter than the original, but I compared this replacement with my original and they are the same length. I would recommend saving the twist ties and using them to hold the hoses in place after installation because they are somewhat stiff (see photo).

Too expensive
Had to order urgently so paid extra otherwise too expensive. Half price if you can wait few weeks. Otherwise standard hose for dishwasher. Works as intended. Mine old got brittle and started leak after 5 year use. Machine should work 10 year for home use without need to replace hoses. Shame on LG. I guess not buying LG any more in future.

It worked!
Hubby was ready to replace the dishwasher but bought this oem part, which did the trick. It’s been holding up nicely for the past couple months. Hubby said it’s a perfect match and an easy diy install. He suggested going on YouTube for videos on how to do it if you haven’t changed this part before.

Replacement hose is a match for the retired part number AEM6943803
Exactly the part I needed. Simple enough to install. Just a bit time consuming. Will take about ten minutes or so to remove and another 5 or so to install the replacement for a minimally skilled DIY-selfer. Ridiculously expensive for simple plastic corrugated tubing. Undoubtedly this complex a hose fitting is done to keep customers captive and so they can't simply replace the broken drain hose part with a cheap 3/4" hose. A word of advice, this tubing is subject to breakdown from excess heat exposure. Mine came from being routed under my sink cabinet where the heater ducting vented, blowing hot, dry air on it regularly. When I reinstalled this part, I routed it differently to reduce this exposure so I hope it will last longer and will not dry out and become brittle. Replacement hose is a match for the retired part number AEM6943803.
