They hold 30 pounds of paper pellets litter for my dogs litter boxes. I have to carry the bag along my 30 feet driveway and never had a bag breaking. Very sturdy.

Never thought my life would come to this, but I'm about to write a review for a trash bag...yes...these bags deserve your respect: light to the touch, thin but sturdy, cool color, and good for recycling bins.

Very sturdy bags holding all kinds of trash. Very pleased with the quality and that its compostable. All trash bags need to be better for the environment. So glad we found these!

We use these to line our compostable organics bin. They seem to hold up well for compostable bags.

The bags 13x18 bags I received seemed really heavy. I put a micrometer on them and they were actually 11 mil.

As a household of 2 we just don't fill up trash bags very quickly. Which means that every other compostable trash bag I have tried, including the other ones from Unni, end up disintegrating in the can. At a certain point are you really being "green" when you have to use a bunch of cleaning agents and paper towels to clean your garbage can every time you change the bag?Now to be clear, this is still a compostable trash bag. You still need to be careful, you still shouldn't let it sit for more than 3 or 4 days. You still need to be careful about liquids and bio matter touching the bag. (Fun fact, it's not the liquid that dissolves bags, but the microorganisms that break it down. It just so happens that liquids in trash cans are often chalk full of microorganisms.)However, at $0.85 per bag it is a pretty hefty price to pay. But what's your time worth to you when you don't have to clean your garbage can?

I like this product but wish the company put out a size that actually fit our green compostable bins from our city. I use a few of these in the bin as the bin fills up.

This product works perfectly and it makes me feel like I'm being environmentally friendly. Just don't let your garbage sit in the bag for too long because it starts to biodegrade right away.
