I bought this mainly for the brown noise feature, and it has honestly helped me sleep better. I have always slept better with some kind of background noise instead of complete silence, and the lower, deeper tone of brown noise works much better for me than the sharper white noise sounds. The sound options are good, the volume range is wide enough to dial it in properly, and the memory function is more useful than it sounds because I do not have to reset everything every night. I also like having the timer options available depending on whether I want it running all night or just while falling asleep. The night light is a nice extra feature, especially since you can adjust the colors instead of being stuck with one harsh light setting. It works well on a nightstand, desk, or while traveling. For the price, I have been very happy with it. Good sound machine, easy to use, and it has noticeably improved my sleep quality. That alone makes it worth it.

I am so impressed with this sound machine! The sound quality is excellent, clear, soothing, and loud enough to completely drown out background noise without sounding distorted. The timer options are also really convenient, although I usually just leave it running all night. The buttons are simple and intuitive, so I didn’t even need to read the instructions to figure everything out. This is an amazing electronic device. It plays 30 different sounds, including white, brown and pink noise plus many sounds of nature. Volume control, timer and night light. What more could you want? I can barely hear the dog barking outside or the TV in the next room when I want to sleep. I love it. And the cost was under $30.

There are a few days a week where I am gone for 12-14 hours which leaves my dog alone in an empty, quiet house. Read somewhere that music/sounds help dogs feel less lonely and anxious however my dog did not like music (she always left the room it was playing in) but really enjoyed white noise or ocean sounds. For a while I was using my laptop to play them for her but it was a little annoying finding videos that didn't have ads or would play for long enough that it wouldn't stop or play another video. So I bought this! I love that there are so many sound options, I have used it a few times for myself when my neighbors are being loud. There are two different ocean options, bubbling streams, rain, and fan noises, all of which my dog has enjoyed. I imagine this would work great for children as there are lullaby and heartbeat options too, or for the adult that cannot stand a silent house at night (me). It calms my dog almost as soon as I leave in the morning and she comfortable sleeping for long stretches of time. It being a plug in eliminates the worry of it dying. It is smaller than I expected (which I actually like) but the sound can be quite loud if you turn it all the way up.

We love these sound machines and have 3 of them. It doesn't take up much space, doubles as a night light, the sound and volume are adjustable, and you can change the color of the light or turn it off completely. My ONLY gripe is that they don't turn back on in the event of a power failure - which sucks because it wakes my kiddos up! But otherwise, super solid sound machine.

10/10 would buy again and DID buy again. Bought this first earlier this year to just help with sleep. It’s been wonderful and drowns out most noises that are associated with apartment living. I decided to buy another one for my living room for the 4th of July since I have cats and we have one on in the living room and one in the bedroom; fireworks have been going off outside pretty loudly but it sounds like soft drum beats. None of the cats have even noticed and are sleeping soundly next to us on the couch as we watch TV. These machines are small and pack a loud sound. The only option I do not get is dripping faucet or water because that is not a noise I would associate with peace and serenity, but I digress. This has been a great purchase for my kitty family.

Have a $60 sound machine and prefer this one every time. It’s so easy to turn on and off and change the sounds. The nightlight is also such a nice touch! So much cheaper and great quality. Lots of sounds to choose from.

I bought this for my husband and he really likes it. It's easy to use, lots of sound choices and easy volume control. It has a light as well which even when switched off there is a glow from the top of the machine but not anything that would keep you awake. It's smaller than I thought but that makes it very portable. I like that it runs off the mains and not battery.

Works as described and is in fact preferable to another unit we own due to its button accessibility (bought 2nd unit for my 87 year old mother). The sound variety and night light options are great features and the price is highly competitive. A solid product overall.
