Question 2

Do these trays pass the Silicone pinch test?

Accepted Answer

Dear Teresa, Yes, the Kiddo Feedo Freezer Tray passes the silicone pinch test since we use use no plastic fillers in our products. Our products are made of 100% solid silicone and will retain their color. They do not turn white when one pinches and twists the silicone. Cheaper brands often use plastic fillers, so it is not safe for high-temperature baking. Kiddo Feedo products are made from 100% pure, food-grade silicone that meets US FDA and European LFGB, ROHS and REACH safety standards. They are also free of any BPAs, PVC, Phthalate, Latex, Lead, Nitrosamine and any nasty hydrocarbon compounds or toxins and they are safe to use in the oven up to 460 Degrees Fahrenheit. Please get in touch should you wish to see the test reports and I will happily send them to you.As a family run business with two little girls at home to care for our top priority is safety. That is the sole reason why we started Kiddo Feedo since we did not feel comfortable using many baby products that are out there on the market. We have and will continue to only use safe and approved materials for all of our feeding products. Please get in touch should you have any further questions or concerns. Kind regards, Gemma MathewsCo-Founder Kiddo Feedo

Question 3

I have a 5 month old and plan to start feeding her some homemade baby food soon. Are these too big for babies? better for toddlers?

Accepted Answer

No, they're perfect. I have an 8 month old and she has a big appetite. So I've started to fill them 2/3 full now so I can give her two at a time. Each compartment measures approximately 2oz which equals to a quarter of a cup, which to a baby that is just starting to eat is more than enough. Love those containers. have 3 myself. Hope that helps.

Question 4

How can you label these? I need adding name, contents and dates on these for daycare. Thank you.

Accepted Answer

I believe you’ll probably need to transfer them to another container for daycare. I transfer mine into a plastic container and I label the lids.
