Highly recommend.
I bought this replacement handle for my sliding door after the old one broke, and it worked out perfectly. Installation was quick and very easy, and the handle feels sturdy and well-made. The quality is excellent, and it makes the door look and function like new again. I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone needing a reliable replacement handle.

Can be made to fit Prime-Line 1226 latch/handle with some modifications
We have a door with a Prime-Line C 1226 door latch and handle. The outside "handle" is actually just a recessed "grip", which can make it difficult to open and close our 4 foot wide, 8 foot tall sliders, which are fairly heavy. The 1226 handle/latch uses a 6 5/8" hole spread for the handle holes, which pass through the indoor handle, through the indoor plate, and into the outdoor plate. Unfortunately, as others have noted, this handle doesn't have 6 5/8" holes on the back. It has just about every other hole distance you can imagine, but not 6 5/8", even though this company makes a door handle with 6 5/8" holes. Contrary to popular opinion, our door is not old; in fact it was installed new with our new-build 2022 home. Everyone in our community has these handles on their sliding patio doors. First, the 1113 handle is the exact same size as the 1226 outdoor grip/handle plate. It's only the holes that don't align. Also, it's only about an inch deep, so our sliding screen door can get past it if we open the glass door and want to pull the screen door past it to cover the opening. To make it fit, I removed the 1226 and and lined up two of the existing screw holes in the 1113 handle (the second hole from each end) with the outdoor handle/grip plate from the 1226, making sure the 1113 was in the proper orientation to make the protruding handle farthest from the wall when the door is closed so you can get a grip on it. Then I marked as closely as possible on the back (inside) of the 1226 outdoor plate where the two holes from the 1113 would line up with it, then drilled out those holes using a 3/16" drill bit. Actually, going a little larger with the hole can help if you don't get the holes lined up exactly; just don't exceed the size of the screw head. One hole at the bottom was in the flat part of the 1226 outdoor plate. The second hole at the top was in the back of the recessed handle grip. I then cut both screws to the necessary length to go through the 1226 plate and reach the threaded screw receivers in the 1113 with some extra to allow it to thread far enough in without bottoming out. The bottom screw in the flat part of the 1226 was cut very short, maybe about 3/8" long. The top screw was cut longer since it was going through the recessed part of the grip, maybe about 5/8" long. After cutting the screws, I just lined up the 1113 handle with the old 1226 plate (on the outdoor side of the 1226) and screwed it on from the back of the 1226 plate. This essentially attaches the new 1113 handle to the outside of the old 1226 plate, using the 1226 plate as an "adapter" so that the 1226 provides the threaded screw receivers for the inside 1226 plate and handle to screw into, just as it had before. Attached are photos showing the inside and outside (with this new handle). The inside photo is just included so you can see what the 1226 style is to determine if that's the one you have (the original indoor handle screws are 6 5/8" from center to center). I'm rating this 4 stars simply because Prime-Line went to the trouble to make it compatible with several different indoor handle screw holes, but not the 6 5/8", which was still being made and installed in homes as recently as a few years ago. It doesn't seem like it would have been too hard to add holes for that spacing. Other than that, using this method to install it did result in a sturdy handle outside that is much easier to grip than the original recessed finger grip provided on the 1226 outdoor plate, and it still allows the outdoor screen door to slide past it.

Perfect Fit
Perfect replacement for my old broken plastic sliding patio door handle. Had to reuse my old screws because the ones that came with the new handle were shorter. But other than that perfect fit.

Great cheap replacement!
Needed to replace my old plastic sliding door handle, saw this as cheap quick delivery fix, fit perfectly even though I did use my original screws. Love this piece is metal instead of cheap plastic that will eventually crack in the sunny summer heat.

Doesn't Fit Flush Mount Systems
It pays to learn what a "does not fit a flush mount system" is before purchasing it. Since there's no diagram/graphic, I figured with so many holes, it's bound to fit. NOPE. Save yourself the effort, if there's detents for your fingers on the inside, with vertical slider THIS WON'T FIT. Apparently, this is a flush mount system.

Easy cheap fix
$8, two screws loosened and tightened, and I now have a way to escape the ants and wasps in the new rental home. I was getting annoyed trying to escape by scraping my nails into the two stubs the previous owner left when I went to check out the mulched and chewed backyard. So cheap and easy, really makes you wonder how such an avid smoker (judging by the litter) could have done without repairing until now.
