Works perfectly!! But seriously needs clear instructions!
Fits perfectly in place! Looks & works perfectly! Looks as valuable as it would on that Aftermarket site costing $150+. Major downhill side is you’d have to look all over the internet for the proper wiring because what you see as described isn’t completely accurate on certain WRX. That and I couldn’t find a 5-1 harness. I’d strongly recommend buying the red wire taps for the one included isn’t very reliable. That and 2 wiring harness that’s so you don’t harm any OEM wires. I couldn’t find any 5 in 1 harness on here but You can get away with the 4-1 harness but you’d have to wire tap both the yellow wire (Left Turn Signals) and Green Wire (Right Turn Signals). But those special harnesses and just wire tap the yellow wire to the driver side brown wire on aftermarket harness.. Also tap the Yellow wire to the brown wire on the passenger side and boom it all works!

Looks amazing for the price
I spent a lot of time debating on which type of F1/rear fog light to get. There's just so many options and styles. I opted out of getting the traditional strobe style brake light, simply because I take my daughter to school in the morning and end up in a pretty long line of cars and didn't want to drive the people behind me insane. When I saw the turn signals on this one, I knew I had to give it a try. Install is about the same as most of these, you pop off the accessory cover and it slips right in. There are small hooks on the bottom of the bracket that slip right onto the mount. There are two holes on either side of the bracket to secure it. You'll need some push in trim retainers (or you could use zip ties if you really wanted to). The wires are nice and long with plenty of reach to make it to your harness wires. I already had a harness interconnect but since these include turn signals you'll have to run one wire to one side or the other. They include wire mating clamps, which is nice, just be sure to check all light functions before you put the trim in the trunk back in. As far as function, it's great. The lights are nice and bright and the tracing of the turn signals add a really cool touch. We'll have to wait and see how well the housing holds up over time to things like moisture intrusion, but so far I am very impressed.

2013 crosstrek wiring diagram
Spent an hour working through the diagrams to make this easier for anyone with the 2013 crosstrek. I spliced mine into the oe harness at the rear trailer hookup. This is the most time intensive part. follow the box on the right with the color match up. I tested the connections prior to splicing it in by inserting the matching wires into the plug while they had power. for example, with the left turn signal on, I out the bare end of black to the ground and the yellow wire on the light into the plug with the OE white/red wire. It worked perfectly. After splicing things up make it look nice and tape it up to waterproof it. Easy to mount up. Took the bracket off and used some old bolts to bolt it right through the factory holes in the bumper. Fit perfectly.

F1 brake light
I absolutely love it, it adds so much style to the rear of the car. Fit was amazing, installation was ok, but i had friends that helped walk me through it, and functionality is amazing. Definitely more then 5 stars!

Great product, not the easiest to install
Everything worked as mentioned. I had to buy new t-splices from Walmart because the included ones suck. They were less than 4$ total. I won’t hit the rating for this because for the price you pay, this product is high quality. Had to look through the reviews to find a proper wiring guide. I have a limited 2020 wrx, and I saw someone say they had a 21 wrx, so I followed that guide, and the guide worked accurately for me. Update: I noticed last night when using the hazards, when I turn on my hazards the left one works as intended, but the right one does the sequential feature as if I had my right turn signal on. It is annoying, however I think this is due to wiring the positive and negative to the left harness only. I don’t know if this issue could be solved by wiring ground to the left harness, and positive to the right, or vice versa. But I do think that’d make it a closed circuit which may cause issues. Just know your hazards will be wonky. If anyone has a fix, please post.

The install was more than expected
I’m glad I had the tools and experience. This was lacking hardware to fasten it to the bumper, and the wires were soldered to have a waterproof seal. The light does look good on the car and so far so good

Nice. Not plug and play. Need to know the wiring.
Need to splice in wiring.

Easiest install look here
Great product for the price installed in about 20 minutes I have a 2020 WRX and if you ground the black wire to the chassis of the car instead of a wire the sequential turn signals when you use the hazards blink at the same time. Quick reference the white wire is the ground wire on all the lights. Brown wire going to the brake lights is in the plug if you have stock tail lights go to the blue wire from the F1 light Green wire on car is parking lights/marker lights. I personally wired the red wire from F1 light to the left green wire(left rear marker light) you should have to tap into 4 different wires on one side and one wire on the passenger side and the ground wire going to the chassis ( I personally wired my ground to the second trunk latch bolt because it’s hidden behind the trim and the hazard lights work normal on the F1 light if you wire the ground to a tail light ground wire when you use the hazards the opposite side will flash slower than the other.

Best F1 style light for this price point
Installed this light on my 2011 wrx sedan only thing bad I can really say about this is that it dosn’t come with the connectors for the t tap terminals. You will have to buy those separately. It looks good and really completes the rear end of the car.

Better than expected!
This light has turned out great! Installed it today and it took a little over an hour. Watched some videos and read some reviews and was easier than I thought. I have a 2014 crosstrek and tapped into my factory lights. They look really good and I’m glad they don’t have the annoying strobe feature. Clean look and managed to install it more or less flush with the bumper. You will need some longer screws to mount the hardware but luckily I had some on hand. For the price, and if you’re a handy person, you can’t go wrong with this light!
