Yes these are mens size skates. I wear an 8 womens as well and I got a size 6 in these skates

I'm sorry, they only go up to Mens 8 / Ladies 9 at this time. We will have Mens 9 / Ladies 10 around Christmas though.

Q: Are these low tops or more of a mid-type top? Wondering about it for the ankle support aspect for my 15yo dtr. She is a beginner, adult height/weiight

I bought these for my daughter. She is very tall even though she is only 11. She wears an adult sized shoe. I think she will be fine. They are not low tops, more of a mid-type as you mentioned in my opinion. They were very well made and not light weight.

Q: What size of stopper should I order?

Fixed or "bolt on" toe stops can come in different shapes and sizes and in many colors. They are always made with a small hole in the center where a bolt or screw is inserted to connect directly to the plate. This hole goes all the way through the bolt on toe stop. They cannot be set at different heights. The opening they use is 5/16”.
