this thing works great, and is very durable. The cooler aspect is better than expected it really does keep my novolog pen cold for a full 48 plus hours and cool even after that. Being clumsy and having dropped this thing more than a few times I can say the unit is pretty solid as far as durability too. would buy again only possible improvement i can think of would be if they made it more compact for easier transport.

Love this slender option to travel with medicated vials. Looks like a water bottle, great use and comes with insulation ice pack. Travels well.

Today we drove two hours to watch our grandsons baseball game. This was a test to see how well this cooler worked before vacation. I purposely left my bag in the sun at the game. After the game I checked my insulin and it was cold. When we got home I used the thermometer and the temp was 8C.

I tested the vessel to verify its ability to maintain a stable temperature. The truth is that the result surprised me. It was able to maintain the internal temperature between 7 and 8°C, for more than 48 hours, in an ambient temperature between 22 and 26°C. Surely under warmer conditions the period of 48 hours will be reduced, but I think it is an excellent product.

From my initial test, it will keep items cold for at least 24 hours if kept at room temperature. The glass thermometer is a joke, it's way off on the temperature by about 15C. Size is good for 1 Hulio pen and a small something else.

This insulated thermos does keep my insulin cold but, unfortunately, the quality control of two of its components is what we’ve come to expect from Chinese products. The gasket is deformed and the cooling pack becomes misshapen after a few cycles of freezing. It does still fit in the container when frozen if it’s inserted with a little persuasion. Luckily it is removable once it has thawed some. If I needed another one though I would look at a different manufacturer.

After the first trip my wife went on after having started using a blood sugar medication and it got hot in the car we bought this. She was on a trip with her sisters and they stopped to shop for of course longer than anticipated and her meds got hot lessening its effect on her bloodsugar and she felt like crap for a few days until she got home and it was time for her weekly dose, which she started from a new package that was in our refrigerator. Now with the medication temperature issue taken care of that will not happen to her again. We have only tried it with one pen of her "O" medication, the included thermometer, an included velour medication pouch and the gel filled icelike cooling pack but that all fit with no problem at all.

I used this one time to keep my medication cold. A 3 hour trip to get onto a cruise ship and it was at 76 degrees when I got there and took it out. Mind you I had the container in the fridge and the inside pack frozen and the medication was already in the freezer. So cold container, cold medication and frozen pack lasted less than 4 hours. Completely useless!
