In addition to the "Can it be played/is it fun with 2 players" question, can anyone out there recommend a good game that IS fun with just 2 players?

This is a quick and easy to learn game with short playtime. I would recommend Castles of Burgundy if you are a gamer. It is a highly rated 2-4 player game and is excellent with 2 players. Watch a youtube video on it first though, it is not a game of Sorry or Candyland. Also I saw a recommendation for Agricola, it has all but been replaced by Caverna.http://boardgamegeek.com/ rates games and lets you know what the gaming mechanic is. Also I see you say you have a hard time getting groups together. If you like board games you might be able to find groups on meetup.com. It is fun to play with two players but the more players you have the more crazy interactions on the board you will have. I thoroughly recommend this game even if you are only playing with two people.

Do you also sell the giant tsuro - life sized game?

No, I don't either and my game is in the German language.

Is this for advanced player?

Not really. It is an easy mechanic my nephews (5 and 6 years old) loves it. It can con into a little more indeph strategy bit I feel not that much. Palate cleanser in between big games.
