Works pretty well to turn pages on my Onyx Boox Poke 3
Just received this an hour ago but wanted to post a review, will update if my opinions change. I was looking all over for a rechargeable bluetooth remote to use to turn pages on my Poke 3. I had been using one that took button cell batteries but those were annoying to swap out every time I forgot to turn it off overnight.Update:So far this works great as long as you're using the KOR reader. This does limit you as you need to have the physical .epub files to load in to the program. If you're using the Kindle/Libby app, you need to get a feel for the double-click action on the outside buttons, as single click on the middle button just simulates tapping the middle of the screen which usually does not change the page. If you have a reading app that lets you set custom page turn regions, as long as you have the middle of the screen as page forward the single-click middle button will work.In order to change page in Kindle/Libby, you need to double click the outside buttons which simulates swiping in from the left/right sides of the screen. On the Poke 3 I had to disable the edge gestures as at first it just was changing the backlight/volume. With that disabled, it's still a little finicky timing wise to make sure it registers as double click instead of two single clicks. But if you click too fast sometimes it registers as a single click anyways. Definitely need to get a feel for it.Also, holding the middle button for some reason turns off the Poke 3. Very inconvenient when you're trying to double click and instead don't let up enough between clicks and it registers as a hold and then it goes to sleep.I also wish the inside of the ring had a little more friction, when you're pressing the outside buttons the ring tends to rotate around your finger unless your squeezing it between them or somehow anchoring it otherwise.Overall better than not having a remote for it, but kind of a pain too.

Just got it—has good potential!
I really haven’t used this yet, but I am delighted that the remote shutter release on this ring, appears to work with an important camera app that I have (this app is not made by Apple). Note that the Apple Watch shutter release does not work for that particular app, so I initially thought it would not work for this product (but it does)…. This is the reason I bought this item. Four stars because it appears to work in the way I want—potential is good. But I can’t give a real rating because I haven’t used it yet.

Nifty little gadget
I'm not techy in any sense of the word. I do have platforms though, and thought this little gadget would come in handy. I knew getting this I would most likely struggle. For me, it was intimidating. However, I was able to follow the booklet well.Didn't take long to fully charge. The ring connected to bluetooth without issue. I was able to use it with my canon camera. The controls do exactly what they are suppose to do. The ring is a nice little convenient thing to have.

Nice design, works as intended once you get a handle on the controls
If you've done any type of content creation using your phone you no doubt have dozens of the small bluetooth remotes on hand. These do the job, but I've always wondered why there were so few upgraded bluetooth remotes on the market. I was hoping that this device would be easier to use and have more functionality than the ubiquitous control included in every selfie stick ever sold. The design is really cool--it's essentially the same as most quality earbud headphones. You've got a case that not only holds the bluetooth remote but recharges it. If you recharge the case, you can get 86 hours of use out of the remote. Even without the case, the remote offers 14 hours of use. The remote itself is in ring form--a clever option in theory but in practice not much different than the traditional non-ring bluetooth remote. As promised in the product description, it's comfortable to wear though I'm not sure how much of an issue this is for a remote control.Pairing was simple though the controls take some getting used to. You use the 'up' and 'down' buttons on top of the ring to scroll up and down *and* take photos/record video. A short press does the scrolling, a long press does the remote function. It also turns pages so you can 'flip through novels without touching the phone.' I wasn't aware that this was much of an issue. At the end of it all, however, I liked this product. It tries to 'invent a better mousetrap' which might not be easy but is how all technological progress has occurred. Once you get used to the controls, the added functionality is nice though not game changing. IMO the best thing about the device might be the ability to recharge it. Most traditional bluetooth remotes use a watch type battery for power. This isn't inherently bad, but it always seems that whenever I need them the battery is dead.Is it a huge upgrade on the basic bluetooth shutter control? The charging definitely is. The design is nice and I'm a sucker for any case that can also recharge. It does make the remote marginally easier to find in your bag or backpack. I guess it depends on your use case. For taking photos it really doesn't improve on the status quo.Another concern--knowing how many bluetooth remotes I've lost I'm wondering how well I'll keep up with this device. I like the form factor a lot, but I'd probably like it a lot less if I lost it. This isn't really the device's problem as much as my problem so I won't hold this against them. I like everything about the device itself except maybe the small learning curve to use the buttons. Recommended.

Cool gadget!
It took a minute to try to understand directions so I just took it upon myself to figure it out. Most devices connect through Bluetooth so that was my first step. I really like it! It's fun and easy. I like that you can use it to take pictures also! I wish directions were easier to understand and larger print for the older tiktokers!

GAME CHANGER FOR SCROLLING IN BED!
I love this for scrolling through TikTok videos on my phone while I'm in bed. It is comfortable to wear. I use it with a mounted phone holder, so it's completely hands free! I would definitely recommend this to anyone that spends hours scrolling on TikTok like I do!
