Wow
This stuff is amazing! It tastes like regular spaghetti sauce and the seasoning is perfect. I'm going to stick up on this stuff. Its nice to be able to eat my favorite foods again. The shipper was fast and nothing was broken.

Tasty and good packaging
I was surprised how well they packed the jar of sauce. So much bubble wrap and tape! The flavor is a bit too peppery, but it’s very flavorful. I literally just finished eating some with cassava pasta. I have reflux, so hopefully the spices won’t cause a flare. Overall very happy! Will order again!

Great taste. Love it.
Tomato products give me acid reflux and boy do I miss marinara/spaghetti/pizza sauce. The consistency of this carrot sauce isn’t as homogenized (smooth) as tomato sauce is, but the taste is quite nearly the same. Sure, it costs more than tomato sauce does, probably due to increased production costs, but it is much better than not having it at all.

Good overall, but a bit too thin and not good when combined with vegan cheeses
This is a good alternative to tomato sauce for what it does. when you blind-taste or forget what the product is when using it in pastas or such, it'll taste like the real thing. This is great for me who has an inherited tomato allergy. My main issue probably is the thin-ness. It's definitely not a thick sauce, and kinda makes sense given how the particular ingredients are mixed, but it's still a letdown, especially if you're making Paleo-friendly pizzas.Pro-tip: do NOT try to use this sauce for pizzas in conjunction with alternative/vegan cheeses, especially coconut milk-based cheeses. I tried the Whole Foods brand coconut based cheese alternative, along with what I remember was an almond or cauliflower crush, and all it did in the oven was make it harder for the cheese on top to melt and all that happened was the sauce got absorbed by the cheese in a way that just made it a goopy mess and made the alternative cheese almost the only flavor, making the pizza less appealing. So I'd you're making a pizza with it, use real cheese. This sauce is more ideal for pasta and, if you're on the autoimmune paleo diet like I am right now, will pair well with either zucchini pasta or sweet potato pasta

Wonderful Tasting Sauce!
For those that can’t eat tomatoes, this is a delightful alternative. It is in a glass jar (yeah no plastic!). It is pleasantly flavored and has the same texture and consistency as traditional tomato-based marinara sauce, including when baked into lasagna. The only negatives are the high sodium content and the 4 grams (1 Tablespoon) of added sugar. If those aren’t deal-breakers for you, I strongly recommend buying it. I look forward to trying it in other pasta dishes.

Belchfest
I was so hoping that this would be the savior for finding out I am intolerant to nightshades. The reviews made it sound wonderful. I have to admit I thought it tasted good going down, but my Lord, what happened to my stomach afterward was horrific. My stomach blew up like a blow fish. I started belching up the massive amounts of garlic flavor and was miserable the rest of the evening. Taking an Alka Seltzer didn't even touch it. I was still belching the sauce flavor up the next morning. I thought it might be the gluten free pasta I ate it with, so a day later I tried a few bites of pasta separate with nothing on it and then a few hours later tried one bite of the leftover sauce and one bite of the ground turkey (which I can tolerate, about all I can eat these days) and I immediately blew up and started belching up the garlic again. So this is not the sauce for me. At least I know I can eat the pasta!!! Now what to put on it....

Great if you can't have the real thing
Pregnant with severe acid reflux that makes me unable to have tomato sauce. Decided to try this sauce with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised! It's got a unique smoky flavor and a watery consistency, but it's not a bad substitute for the real thing. Don't expect real marinara sauce, but it's a decent approximation considering the main ingredient is different. Arrived without any cracks or leaks.I followed the suggestion of another reviewer about letting the noodles dry out before using the sauce to minimize the wateryness. With some ground turkey and parmesan cheese it was a pleasant meal. There's enough for probably 4 individual servings in the bottle, I'll freeze it and thaw it for future pasta meals so I can have my own little special dish since my husband is not a fan.

Watery & Not Worth the Price
The flavor was okay, but the consistency was watery. I really didn't feel it had a good enough flavor or texture to justify the INSANELY HIGH price, but I did want to give it a try since I can't have tomatoes. I can still tolerate red peppers, so if you can, my advice is to roast a red pepper, mix in some milk, olive oil, and spices, and it will taste MUCH better than this and takes under 10 mins.
