I want to connect this to a faucet. what kind of adapter would i buy? or what is the specification on the hose provided so i can search?

We purchased the AVAbay Polished Chrome Faucet Diverter Valve (ASIN: B07MHJQK9Q) sold by Amazon to connect to a utility sink in our garage with a single handle faucet (similar to far right photo posted by seller). We were able to easily connect it to our Waterpik PPR-252E Pet Wand Pro shower sprayer which did not come with this part. Now that everything is installed, we are pleased with the products.

Does the actual tub run while using this?

No, the water only comes out through either the hose nozzle or the shower head, depending on which way the switch is turned.

Does this deliver good water pressure?

In my experience it probably works great with smaller or short hair dogs. We have two golden retrievers and there just isn't enough water and water pressure to do a lot of good. We use a regular Water Pik handheld shower head with a shutoff valve. Works much better.

The attachment to the shower head is relatively easy to install? How so?

so easy a caveman can do it. very easy to follow instructions, small crescent wrench required. Super simple to install, less than 5 minutes.
