LeBrun 24-Piece Laguiole-Style Cutlery Set, Ivory

Having bought a set of these cuttleries last year in France, I was hopping to get the same qualtiy here, but this one does not compare.The knives are sharp, and the set will do the work, but it is truly not as fine as the real laguiole. It's ok for everyday's use, but not to set on your table when you have guests.

I bought these on March 6,2014 they were until May 4,2014 I was using a fork & the little metal piece broke off I love them until now tho I would not reamed anyone else to buy them I tried looking for a way to concerted the seller but can't find anything that shows it so that is why I am putting this here!

so these cannot be authentic laguiole....i got to look at some in person at a local boutique for $10.95 a pc and the handle was great but the metal was awful quality roughly cut. my mom thought they were vintage like used. so i thought i would try these out to comppare the quality. the silver on these is nice shiny sooth...a couple spoons were not totally smooth but its the handles that were cheap cheap.

Each piece of this flatware is stamped Laguiole. The price I paid was amazing, and the quality is beyond belief. Each piece is a work of art, constructed to last for generations. The knives are not the butter knives found in flatware sets made in the United States, but are sharp, like steak knives, so be aware of this. The teaspoons are quite dainty, almost small enough for baby spoons. I bought the blue, which is a rich turquoise & perfectly matches my Fiesta Ware Peacock Blue dishes. It is a beautiful set and I love using it. There are detail rivets, and thumb rests; it is quite an interesting set.

This Laguiole STYLE flatware is a great purchase for under 55$ for 6 place settings. You can not eat out at a descent restaurant for that amount of $. It came nicely packaged in a black box . I would highly recommend this for something different to use . The actual Laguiole sells for 4xs this amount so of course it would be more finished. As for the size of the spoons etc. they are absolute replicas of the more expensive brand. The weight was not to light like stated before and mine are not scratched. They look great! Good deal ! Very happy about this purchase!

This set lacks a quality look or feel. It looks more like a $19.99 knock off of a REAL quality product. Keeping them only to compliment a 4rth of July picnic. Hard to imagine them in my dining room even for a casual lunch.

I bought these awhile ago but not that long that the metal pieces in the middle keep breaking off all of the forks _ mostly. Not happy with the product! Will go with the "real thing" next time

These look great but do not withstand much use.
