So far they appear well made and heavy duty. They are quite heavy so appear to be made with a good amount of steel and seem to heat up quite good. So far am quite happy, though they are not cheap grills

VERY sturdy construction - ร9mm rod is very substantial. Let it heat up good, and food slides very easily. Very pleased with this product.
