The best doorbell ever!!!
This is the coolest doorbell ever!!! And NO BATTERIES REQUIRED!!! That was what caught my attention to start with. The last wireless doorbell I had seemed to go through batteries much quicker than it should have, as it wasn't used much at all. And of course, there were times that either the main unit or the button had a dead battery when I wasn't aware of it. I just had to find something better! The receiver on this doorbell is so compact - I love it!!! It does not block the other outlets at all, and is a tiny unobtrusive little box that plugs into any electrical outlet. No more need to mount a chunky doorbell unit on your wall! I was surprised at the volume of sound that this small receiver produced!! I actually turned it down a bit as my house is small & it was a bit TOO loud at the highest volume, if I happened to be in the same room when the bell rang! The ringtones are quite pleasant - not 'tinny' like some doorbells. There is the standard 'ding-dong' and Westminster chimes - and also a really nice selection of other ringtones. I never paid attention to whether a doorbell had extra sounds or not in the past, but now that I have all these extra ringtones, I do enjoy the option of changing the sound! Mine is set to play Fûr Elise right now & it is very pleasant to hear! The button mounted outside my door as easy as can be - I just used the included full-size adhesive foam-pad & it seems very secure. The button presses very easily. I had read some comments on another doorbell that had a kinetic push button (although the receiver still needed batteries). Several people had mentioned that it took some decent amount of pressure on the button to make the connection (on the *other* brand doorbell, NOT this one!) This one presses smoothly and easily, no more pressure required than your standard battery-powered push button.I bought the unit with one button and two receivers. Once in a great while, someone will ring my doorbell repeatedly, because they aren't sure if it rang or not, so I put one receiver out on my enclosed front lanai, where my main front door is. I set at a lower volume with a simple ding-dong, just so a visitor could hear that the doorbell is working. Now that I have tried this out & I *love* it, I'm going to purchase another single set, so that I can have a push button for my other door.Of course, I've only had this doorbell a few days now, so I don't know for certain how it will hold up in the long run - but I feel very confident in this unit & I think it will be the best doorbell ever. I just love everything about it!!! Especially NO BATTERIES!!!! That makes this doorbell 1000 times better than any other bell on the market, in my opinion! I will update my review in 6 months or a year, and let you know how it is doing. But I feel sure it will keep going for a very long time!

A real bargain! No more door bell button batteries!!
I am so tired of wondering why my door bell isn't working again, and can't track down the batteries it uses or refuse to pay those horrific prices. This time it was dinging and not donging. The batteries tested good (in the green band) on my battery tester, so I trashed the **** thing! This little tiny thing is amazing, although I can't imagine anyone using those goofy, corny chimes they have. There are 16 options to choose from and the vast majority of them are just plain crazy. I mean, REALLY police sirens?? Who wants junk like that when that's all you hear here in the extended greater Los Angeles area??Fortunately they had a nice iconic sounding one that I went with "Westminster Chimes". You have to cycle thru 16 different ones to find the one for you. But for the price....who cares??The Chinglish instructions are not too difficult to follow, but may not be too clear. I had to read the instructions several timesto get the drift of how to program the doorbell transmitter (referred to as "the remote") to the chime chosen in the receiver. I just don't understand why they don't get Americans of Chinese descent who know Chinese to do their writing. Instead they sound like dictionaries with Chinese idioms such as —"May fortune smile upon you and favour you with many blessings." Ah, heck, you can't beat that kind of happiness now, can you?All in all, some nitpicking, but it is well worth the price.

Great Wireless Doorbell
Nice idea, as the biggest problem with wireless most doorbells is the transmitter, because it’s outside and usually needs a battery which always seems to die quick. This system doesn’t require a battery on the transmitter, and you can plug in the receivers anywhere u need them. I purchased 2 receivers that have so many sound options from a classic doorbell sound to Mozart and many old time favorites. I did or one more receiver , so if you buy this get at least 3 receivers if your home is medium size, a very large house I would go for about 5. The range is surprisingly great, even in a home with older plaster walls. I have one of the bells more than 300 yards in a solid structure away and no problem.

Totally battery free and amazingly small door bell
This is a great doorbell. When I received the doorbell, I could not believe the size of the box.It was at least a half of the size I would imagine. This system does not have a single battery inside. Thus, it relies at the push of the button in order to generate enough electricity to transmit a signal to the receiver. One would automatically presume that that push must be very vigorous.Amazingly enough, a very gentle push on the button works every time.Even a three year old can do it.The receiver is also amazing. It's as small as the button. It has to be plugged into the wall but is as loud as I would want it to be.In short, a totally battery free system that should work for a long time carefree.

Best Wireless, Battery-less Door Bells Ever!!!
After a ton of research, I purchased two of these and I'm very please with them. I have an enclosed front patio and some people don't even attempt to open the gate, so I wanted a door bell button on the outside of the gate and one on the inside by the front door. Running wires to the outside of the gate would be problematic. There's also a brick facade to one side of the door and a sliding glass door to the other and my previous wireless door bell had problems getting a signal through, plus the seal on the battery-driven button eventually cracked and the insides got wet and rusty. A third-party replacement button met a similar fate even though that and the previous one were water-resistant.Setup was easy. I paired the two sets to the same frequency and put one ringer upstairs and one on the first level. It worked from the very first time I tried them and now several months later, they still work perfectly. The kinetic buttons are awesome. There are no batteries to worry about, and they make a satisfying click when pushed.
