I saw great reviews on this boots so I tried it. Fit is spot on, just ensure size up half your usual sneakers size. Very grippy vibram soles and it has ample ankle support. Surprising light, lighter than my moab 3. Will see how waterproof and durable once I have miles on it. Highly recommended! 👍👍

I bought two pairs of La Sportiva Approach hiking shoes back in 2015 and wore them during my Euro tour in 2018. And I was caught in several downpours while touring Rome and these La Sportiva shoes kept my feet dry all the time. La Sportiva shoes are all well designed and well made with quality material, superior to Solomon hiking shoes in durability and comfort to Keen or Merrill in quality. I highly recommend La Sportiva!As to waterproof, I have tried Ecco GTX, Clark’s leather shoes GTX, Hi-Tec waterproof boots ,Saucony Excursion hiking shoes TGTX and La Sportiva GTX hiking shoes ,Clark’s ,Hi-Tec and La Sportiva are of the best quality,submerged in rainwater for hours and my feet remain dry. But Saucony’s leaks and Ecco OK.

I would like to return theses but probably will not. I wore them and they were not comfortable. Very stiff. Maybe require a break in period. I'll repost if they turn out to be better.
