The Blitzhome SMART Dishwasher: My Little Countertop Comrade
Alright, let's talk about the Blitzhome Portable SMART Dishwasher, because this little guy has officially earned its spot as my favorite kitchen gadget. As someone who lives in a "cozy" apartment, the idea of a full-sized dishwasher was about as realistic as finding a unicorn in my bathtub. So, handwashing became my nemesis, leading to endless "who's turn is it to do the dishes?" debates. Then, the Blitzhome waltzed into my life. First off, it's surprisingly sleek for something that tackles my grubby plates. It doesn't scream "appliance," which is a win in my book. Setting it up was less of a chore and more of a "wait, that's it?" kind of experience. But here's where the real fun begins: the app. This isn't just about turning it on from the couch (though that's glorious, especially on lazy Sundays). My favorite feature, hands down, is the energy usage monitor on the app. I never knew I needed to know exactly how much power my dishwashing habits were consuming until the Blitzhome told me. Now, I find myself optimistically (and sometimes competitively) checking the app, trying to beat my last energy footprint. Itโs like a mini-game where the prize is a lower utility bill and the satisfaction of knowing I'm not accidentally powering a small village with my plate-cleaning. My girlfriend rolls her eyes, but I know she secretly appreciates the savings. And the actual cleaning? Top-notch. Seriously, even after a catastrophic chili night where my bowl looked like a crime scene, my dishes emerge sparkling, gleaming, and bone dry. Itโs got cycles for everything, and itโs so quiet I often forget itโs running until the app pings me to tell me my dishes are ready for their close-up. This little machine has given me back precious hours and saved my relationship from countless dish-related squabbles. Itโs compact, powerful, smart, and even helps me keep an eye on my energy consumption without having to don a headlamp and inspect my fuse box. If you're tired of sudsy hands and want a chuckle out of your energy habits, the Blitzhome is your new best friend.

It makes me giddy still!
Lifesaver! We hummed and hawed over it for forever. And I looked at like 10 machines trying to fine the cheapest with the best reviews and I'm not disappointed. It is definitely to large to fit under cupboards and be able to fill with a pitcher. And that's the function I use the most because i DO NOT want to connect the sink to run it and I live in an apartment so I cant modify it to work from the line. I could get a splitter but that would be hideous and it would hang down significantly making it hard to wash my hands. I have OCD and I have to have access to the sink at all times. I think there are plenty of reviews that break down every feature so I'm just going to give my highlights: -We honestly just both have pretty terrible executive function so we often use it inefficiently just to get the mental block out of the way and its so much better for us. sometimes we just fill like a basket or colander full of silver where and chuck it in or a single huge pot that's in the way. its great. -Obviously it works well. Like no, crusty old pots and pans will not come out sparkling, but honestly, pretty close. -I have had it be too soapy and that seems to screw with the pressure and the things stopped spinning, but I just ran it again with barely any soap or empty and then it works again. Only happened twice and It easily runs an average of every day. -LOVE the capacity. perfect for a two person household, probably too small for anything more unless you just wanted it for something specific like baby items or fruit. -I really love that you can start it but if its not full of water it alerts you and then you can just fill it up and it starts automatically. since its two of us that's super useful because we just start it to see if its full and then fill it up if it doesn't run. we don't have to tell each other if we prefilled it or not. its a little thing but I LOVE it. -The tip sprays something fearsome when you fill it with a pitcher unless you have a funnel of some kind. Ironically, the end of a wipes container is almost a perfect fit tho. (yes i cleaned it) i filled it super fast in the video so you can see it doesn't seal perfectly but it is leagues better then nothing and it was free. plus i bet if i put notches in it to sit better on the ridges in the screen it would probably work even better but i don't care enough. -I have never used the app, Its nice it has one i guess but I just havn't needed or wanted to. I am eventually going to try getting a bit of tubbing that's the right size and stick it on the sink and just fill the top with that. It should work because sinks have a lifting power of like 10ft so long as the tube is snug. Side note, I sighed in the video because I spilled because I poored it WAYY faster then normal since i was filming but it was just enough to start it so I couldn't retake the vid. anyway its still less water then without it tho. lol

Small kitchen must have!!
So far so good! It arrived today and I love it already! One thing I did not consider was the size of the dishwasher. It does not fit under my cabinets. So it was either let it hang over the sink...Or put it on a wobbly TV dinner tray table. To my surprise it doesn't shake the table at all! Started it up and everything worked as it should. Starting it was easy 3 full pitchers of water and it beeped at me letting me know it was full. Selected the setting I wanted and off we went. I love that it shows me how long the cycle has left. I checked on it after awhile and there was 6 minutes left on the drying cycle and I could tell everything looked dry already. When I opened it with 6 min left there was a little bit of water, but they were mostly dry. Everything looked, smelled, and felt clean. The dishwasher drained properly and I didnt see any water leaking. I did tape down the end of the drainage hose to the sink because the little suction cup didnt want to stick to my sink. I am now running my 2nd load! Great dishwasher! Love it!

Perfect for 1 person
I love it! Have used it with both ways of filling it up with water and both work perfect! I feel like o save more water and my dishes are clean. It fit perfectly on my counter top and itโs quiet enough.

works as advertised!
I had another countertop model from another manufacturer that the lower arm quit rotating so i bought this one cuz i likes the window was bigger and the light stays on for a bit and the inside compartment was taller without the actual machine being to tall to fit under my cabinet so now my plates fit. The first time i used it it leaked a little but i found it was the drain line was not tight(make sure you go by a hose clamp rather than the little clamp thing they provide. Also, make sure you check the tightness of the propellers before your 1st use, i had to tighten myn as they would not turn until i did. PROS.... **compact but large capacity. **large window for viewing. **easy to operate. **quick and thurough cleaning. CONS.... ****i wish there was a button i can press to turn on/off the light while its running to check the cleaning the DRY feature has to be pressed everytime you turn it back on (its not a default). ****i wish the display was angled more straight so you could see the timer from the living room (you have to walk up to it and look at the top). *****doesnt come with a direct to line hose for under the sink (i have a arched removable attached sprayer and i cant contect to the hose they provide. over all i do like it!

Don't do without it a day longer!
How did I do without a dishwasher this long! I really thought a countertop wouldn't replace a built in full sized dishwasher but I was happily wrong. 2 months living in an apartment the only thing I couldn't do without was a dishwasher but all I could use was a small one so I took the plunge and boy I was impressed. I have it on a heavy duty kitchen cart on wheels. My dishes are for 1 or 2 ppl but I need the sterile wash for keeping healthy. Pots, dishes, glasses anything I put in is beautifully clean & sparkling. Drainage goes in my sink and it fits perfect where I have it parked. I run it 2x a day once after lunch to clean them & breakfast and at night after I've finished eating dinner & beverages, bowls, frypan, cutlery. I am absolutely satisfied with this machine. It's rugged enough and the super magnetic door never opens. It's perfect for me. Price point is amazing. You will love it.

Zero support, warranty useless.
Dishwasher worked great while it worked. It has recently not been completing a cycle, complaining that it is out of water, even when you refill it. I can't contact the company and get any response. Amazons link to support doesn't go anywhere. I spoke with Amazon and they got me a different link to a contact form, which won't submit. I spoke again with Amazon who said they would initiate a contact on my behalf, I've heard nothing. I've additionally located an email address and sent an email with no response. Beware, there is NO SUPPORT making the warranty useless.

Works great, no complaints!
I've been using this product for about three months now, and I love it. It's very easy to use and have never had any issue with things not getting clean (using a good soap pod like Cascade Platinum probably helps). It *is* quite small as far as inside space for washing, and some things of mine don't fit--like cutting boards, larger pots/saucepans, etc. But, it will accommodate medium-sized pans very well, a decent amount of flat ware, several plates, etc. So I just use it for those things and hand-wash a few other items. I think it would be great for a one- or two-person household that doesn't cook complicated stuff every night. It does take up a chunk of countertop real estate, so plan accordingly; best place is next to your sink as you need a place for the hose to drain used water (though I saw someone else on here who just uses a bucket--good solution). It actually looks good too--quite sleek and contemporary, and the interior is well lit (very helpful).
