Works great!
Works great, set up was easy, probably 10 mins at most. Easy instructions. Very happy with purchase. Fast speed, no more buffering problems and "no internet" on phone.

New router thatโs way and dependable
Obviously easy install, for someone like me who knows nothing about AV. Works great.

Easy setup and decent speed
Set up was simple. On existing attached devices, you may need to "forget this network" for a prior router if this new device is a replacement router. Speed is faster than my old router.

Good coverage, the connection drops every now and then
I always liked linksys for their quality. This router looks very nice and the sigmal is good, it covers 2 floors in my house. On a down side, I do get my wifi disconnect dropping every few days on some devices and refusing to reconnect until I restart the router. Another issue is the user interface in the web app that feels underdeveloped. The older versions of the web app didn't look flashy but were much more functional. Also the list of connected devices doesn't update in real time and only shows 1-2 devices as online while there should be at least 10.

Fast
This Wi-Fi box is faster then the ones you get from the internet companies and WiFi routers.

Do Not Buy - Warranty not honored
SHORT VERSION: Any company that keeps you on the phone for 4 hours of tech support, can't fix the issue, and still won't honor the warranty isn't a company I want to buy from. LONG VERSION: I have 2 Linksys MR20EC routers bought in Jan. 2025 & July 2025. After about 8 hours of troubleshooting, I determined that the one bought in Jan. was defective - wild swings in internet speed from 500 Mbps to 30 Mbps multiple times per hour. It was also intermittently dropping wi-fi connections with devices farther than 20 feet away. Meanwhile, the router bought in July was working perfectly: consistent speeds and connections stable as far as 35+ feet. I've now spent 4 hours (over 2 separate days) on the phone with Linksys Tech support, and they still won't honor the warranty, despite devices dropping connection while I was on the phone with them... despite the fact that I have the same make and model router that actually does work (for comparison). Their recommendation? Well, I may just need a child node to reach distant locations over 20 feet. That will fix the issue. (Yes, it will because the router is DEFECTIVE!) And I can separate the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz channels because that "might" be causing the issue. (Funny how that isn't a problem with the router I bought in July!) I was told to "monitor the situation" for a few more days and call back (for the third time) if I still had issues... so we can do MORE troubleshooting. I've had it! I hope this honest review of my experience with their routers and tech support saves someone else the time and money I've wasted with Linksys. I had a Netgear Nighthawk that worked flawlessly for 4 years before it had to be replaced. I won't buy Linksys again.
