Star Trek Playmates Toys Universe: 5" Captain Spock Wrath of Khan Action Figure with Accessories

I have been collecting the old Playmates Star Trek figures from the 90s, not only because they are a cheaper alternative to the old Mego figures, but because the likenesses are much better. I have the Generations figures of Kirk, Scotty, and Chekov, but was disappointed that a Spock in his red Star Fleet uniform was never made. So imagine my surprise when Playmates announced a Wrath of Khan 40th Anniversary line with a Spock! This figure is great! It doesn’t look exactly like the 90s line, but close enough to able to display them together. It’s the same height, but thinner and made from a softer, less glossy plastic. It also has more points of articulation. The likeness to Leonard Nimoy is the best of the three figures in the line, I didn’t feel the Kirk, and Khan likenesses were as good, but I may still buy those. The figure comes with a really cool accessory, a pair of radiation gloves like Spock used in the movie. It also comes with the classic federation logo stand, like the 90s line. This is one of the best action figures in my collection, and well worth the surprisingly affordable price!

I can’t believe I found one of these after all these years, still in the box and in perfect condition. Thanks!

Face just doesn't look like Spock. Otherwise, it's fine. They did a pretty good job on the details of the uniform and accessories.

Like the other figures in the new 2022/23 Star Trek line by Playmates, this figure captures Captain Spock at his finest. A must have collectable with the late Leonard Nimoy now immortalized as he appeared in the greatest Star Trek film (and sequel) of all!!!
