Super lights with a variety of colour combinations. Very bright & connect to mains but can be operated on a timer which is really useful. Fitted them up today & so pleased with the effect. They look so good I think that I will keep them up long term & not just for Christmas.

One of the features I wanted in LED christmas lights is the ability to reduce overall brightness, as this prolongs the lifetime. Many LED lights tend to be overdriven and after a year or so they usually suffer from noticeable reduced brightness. These warm white LED lights from Ollny have a remote which offers a range of functions, including 4 brightness settings and a variety of patterns. In the box you get the 10m string of 100 lights with transparent cable and holders, a plug-in power supply, and small remote control. The light string can be detached from the power supply via a screw locking plug. The remote comes supplied with a coin cell battery and just needs the protective insulation tab removing before use. The remote isn’t required unless you want to change patterns or brightness, or activate the built-in timer. There is also a button on the power supply that can power up and cycle the LED patterns. Holding the button activates the timer with different illuminated colours (red, green or blue) indicating the timer length. I connected the power supply to a smart plug switched socket and the lights do remember the last setting when powered off and back on at the mains. In operation I find the lowest brightness setting perfect for normal usage, so the LEDs should last a while. The remote also has a timer function with 3, 6 and 8 hour settings, brightness up and down (4 steps) and then a variety of functions including steady on, wave, sequential, slow glow, chasing flash, fade, twinkle, and a combination of all. You can also toggle the lights on or off from the remote. The remote is infrared so needs to be inline of sight with the power supply unit. There’s plenty of cable length with about 3m between the plug and first LED. The spacing between each LED is 10cm (there are 3 silver/transparent wires between each light). In summary I’m very impressed with the quality, features and price point of these lights. Overall a great product that brings some warm illumination to our houseplants.

A bit concearned with some reviews but these lights are just great, they are sturdy and can be hung on xmas tree, stair case bannisters or whatever, I have them wound all over my huge cactus plant in out orangery and they look brilliant. The romote is a definate bonus to switch on and off or change the mode of lighting, very pleased. AA++

Lovely lights, really vibrant colours

Amazing lights - I actually used these lights for round the front of my door and they look amazing. Timer function is brilliant and the warm glow makes my house look superb.

Lovely lights, recently bought to place inside a large lantern that sits on my fireplace. They look very cosy on these dark nights and I like the option to change the brightness if I wish to do so. I have since bought a larger set of these Ollny lights to put on our Christmas tree this year. So far, so good and I would recommend.

Bought to replace the same sets purchased before for our Village Christmas tree. Great lights which lasted a few very bad winters Only need to replace as the tree fell down

Using for my son’s Christmas tree. They look great but turn on by themselves. Scares my son in the middle of the night when they automatically come on without using the remote
