The second I plug the USB-C adapter with the camera into my new Pixel 2, my phone crashes immediately and shuts down with weird lines across the screen.I tried a different adapter (the white adapter that came with the phone, where it's a USB-C to a USB port). Then I used a different cord with a standard micro USB to USB. That at least got power to the camera, since I can see the blue light at the top. And my Pixel 2 didn't shut down instantly with a weird screen. But the app keeps asking me to connect the camera, and it appears to be useless in all other ways.I thought maybe it needed to charge a while, but that wasn't the case. As soon as I tried the adapter that came with the camera, POOF. It's dead again. Not the most comforting thing to see with a new phone!I wish I had seen this question from J. Young before purchasing, since it sounds like it has happened to at least one other person: "This actually shut down my pixel 2 immediately when I plugged it in - screen went all funky and it just cut it's own power. I had to return it, which went smooth, but yea, don't get this if you have a pixel 2."I had such high hopes for this thing, too. It looks so cool! Special ordered it with rush shipping for a big event this weekend. I'm very disappointed and will be returning it for a refund, unless the seller has any ideas to solve the problem.

Quality is OK, simplicity of using this camera on my Huawei Mate 9 is great.Sharing to different social media is a breeze.Highly recommended until we see 4k and 8k resolution within the same price range.

using the app is very difficult that is once you can find it. it is also mostly not in English.

Only works with some phones. I have 2 and it works with my older phone but not my newer (cheaper) phone. Video has never worked, but love the stills. About 10% of the time, it does not stitch the two halves together properly, so I generally take two shots. It also takes a number of additional steps to convert to a file you can post for others.

The camera simply did not work and I had to return it. Have not ordered a new one from the same supplier.Very disappointing.

Bought it for my boyfriend's birthday and he loves it! Fast shipping, well made.

You should know before buying this that the app is no longer available on google Play and the only way to get it is from 3rd party sites.On top of the the Live features do not work (possibly due to the app no longer being supported)The App I was able to install did take photos and video with no issues and I am even able to share the 360 versions to social media. The quality was OK, but not great. Certainly decent enough to take on a vacation.I Suggest Amazon Pull this listing as many people will be upset that the app is no longer available, and you can't use the camera without the app.
