Life savers!! These do an incredible job with healing and protecting your nipples. The dry pads and hydrogels are fine but these actually keep your nipples from sticking to your bra and other materials. They clean super easy and very lightweight.

If you're breastfeeding, get these. Regardless if you have suffered nipple trauma or not, these are great for preventative reasons too. Anyway, here's my opinion and experience being a new mummy. -I thought breastfeeding was natural and easy. Wrong. I quickly had cracked and bleeding nipples that escalated into an even worse injury. How could it get worse? My sweet daughter, who I quickly named my little snapping turtle, had chewed off layers and layers of skin. I didn't even know this was possible. It looked like I was missing parts of my nipple. So now I'm laying in bed at 3am, shuddering at my daughters hunger cries, bc I knew I had to feed her, but was having to lay myself down at the breastfeeding alter to do so. For three weeks I suffered and cried. In that time I have tried every trick in the book... creams galore, saline soaks, APNO cream, etc. nothing was helping me heal bc it I literally had huge, open wounds (yep, ended up getting mastitis too). Finally, my mum found these cups. These little miracle cups. The first day I put them on, I could not only put on a shirt, but also felt relief bc I could see healing take place. It was as if the clouds parted and angels started singing. I have only taken them off to feed her and will continue to wear them throughout this journey bc it's preventing future problems. Since my daughter was severely lip/tongue tied and had surgery to fix it, still takes time to retrain her mouth and get a good latch. So even though her latch isn't perfect, I can still breastfeed with ease bc these cups help prevent injury while still helping me heal. I know that is a super long rating, but i feel so passionate about this product I wanted to share my whole story so you can get an accurate picture of how valuable this product is. So you might be wondering if there's any cons. Yes, sometimes they do leave a slight ring from compression. Small price to pay in my opinion and regardless of compression, I still find them very comfortable to wear. Added bonus, it protects my nipple from rubbing on my bra or nursing pad. Also, other reviews say you look like Madonna...Maybe if you wear super thin shirt with a bra that has zero padding. But I honestly haven't had that experience. I just wear them with my nursing pads in between my bra and cups and you can't tell. So that's it. The only two possible cons. So invest in these. I'm telling you, it saved me and allowed me to continue to breastfeed.

I love these so much I could cry. I breastfed for an entire year and now that it’s over, these are the one thing I could not have survived without. I don’t know what miracles they perform, but I had never had cracks or pain. They were so comfortable, so well fitted for the bra size I wore, and tucked right into a nursing bra if I put a pad behind it and that protected from leaking and pain. I couldn’t wear them to work because they’re a little too thick and noticeable under a shirt but they’re amazing to protect you, work better than any nipple butter, and were the best purchase I made.

I've been having an okay time breastfeeding and pumping, but my big issue arises when I have to wear a bra or shirt, because the friction/pressure feels AWFUL on my nipples. I was using the lanolin cream, but that just rubs off or sticks to the shirt/bra. I was a little skeptical about buying these because they are expensive and I figured they couldn't help that much (assumed some amount of pain and sensitivity was normal). I could not have been more wrong and I am so glad I bought these. In fact, I wish I had gotten them for the start of my BF/pumping journey. I am two weeks postpartum and these things have made my nipples feel normal again. Could be placebo effect but even my vasospasms have largely gone away. Also super helpful in that it catches the milk when I leak (just be prepared to catch that milk when you remove them!). I literally don't have pain in my nipples anymore, and they have even become less sensitive. Having shower water hit them directly was a nightmare for the first few showers, but I've noticed a difference already in just using these for a few days. Also, I know there are cheaper ones available, but I do feel safer knowing the silver is antibacterial, especially when I'm not entirely sure how often to wash them (I've been shooting for daily). I still use the lanolin cream at night as I don't want to sleep with a bra to keep these on, but honestly they are so small and gentle that it probably wouldn't be a big deal to sleep with them either. Highly recommend; please don't hesitate, save your nipples!

These are easy to use and lightweight. These have saved me from pain very quickly! It is simple to place them and they stay in place with the support of my bra. Super easy to clean. They are pricey , but well worth the price to no longer be in pain from breastfeeding.

I love this product, it has gotten me through a really hard breastfeeding start BUT they do bend very easily. i’ve only had them for a month and one of them has a dent in it that causes it to pinch my skin. Not sure if that’s a defective thing but I’ve seen other reviews like it. I would still recommend buying them because I don’t think I could get through my day-to-day without them, but it is very expensive for something that only lasted in theory a month correctly

This review is for the new moms out there who I genuinely just want to help. I know it’s pricey but this is worth every penny. Breastfeeding was so painful for me before I purchased these. I was VERY motivated to breastfeed before having my baby but once she arrived, I realized breastfeeding was much harder than I anticipated. If I hadn’t gotten these I’m not sure if I would have been able to continue. Shortly after using these, the soreness subsided and I got the hang of it. Everything improved once I used these. Nipple butters did nothing. If you’re reading this sore and in pain, wondering how you are going to do this like I was, please buy this for yourself. These are godsend for nipple cracks and bruises. I don’t use them regularly but whenever my nipples hurt I wear them and they help tremendously with pain and healing.

Silverettes saved my breastfeeding journey! My boobs/nips were ruineddd when breastfeeding my first baby & it made me give it up after a few weeks due to such extreme pain. Fast forward to my 2nd baby, and I used silverettes & breastfed her for a year. It honestly meant there was no nipple pain at all!!!
