When the parent handle is turned does it turn the bike handles? Id like it to help him learn how to steer...

yes the handle and wheel both steer with parent handle

Is this made out of metal or plastic?

Both... the main parts and bars are metal... seat, pedals, wheel caps, and cup holder are plastic. It’s Ana awesome quality overall.

Does this fit in the back of a mid size xuv like a crv? trying to decide between this or the ez fold. thank you!

yes, it fits by lowering the handle but it occupies most of the space as we can't fold it.

Do you know if they sell the Cushion for thr base model?

Hi: This model does not have a compatible seat pad available at this time.
