DSS 925 Sterling Silver Italian Rhodium Plated Silver Box Necklace Chain for Women & Men, Luxury Chain Necklace with Lobster Clasp, Hypoallergenic - Made in Italy

I just received my order from DSS that I placed only two days ago. I eagerly opened the boxes, and viewed my new treasures. Last week a chain broke with a pendant that I have worn nearly daily since I got it 5 years ago in Hawaii. I couldn't stand the thought of not wearing it again, and so began my hunt for a new chain. I could have bought cheaper, but the reviews for DSS were so amazing and consistent. I decided that it was worth it to go with them. But, not only did I buy a chain for Hawaiian pendant, I also bought chains for 4 more pendants. I'm glad I did. I now have chains for a pendant that was my mother, a gemstone of mine that I haven't worn in years, and two gemstones a friend made for me. I'm already planning to wear what. All five chains were brilliant silver. And for the width and length, each felt very sturdy and exceedingly well made. Each pendant looks fantastic on the chain. And as others have said, each came packages individually in a box with cleaning instructions anti-tarnish spots, and a mini-cleaning kit. Since I ordered 5 at once, they didn't have give me 5 mini-kits, but they did anyways. If you need a chain for a special pendant, or a gift or just to wear as is, shop no further Designer Sterling Silver. You will not be disappointed.

I bought this box chain for my sister to wear with a pendant. She has had a stroke and can’t open the clasp on any of her chains. I decided on the box chain because it is a sturdy chain which can be slipped over her head avoiding the need to open the clasp. The 24” length turned out to be a perfect length allowing her to slip the necklace on and off. She is very happy with her new chain. Not only is the box style strong, it is also beautiful with the rhodium plating which makes it look like white gold. No muss no fuss! Problem solved! Also, the 1mm is the perfect size to insure that the presentation is feminine looking while placing emphasis on her pendant and not on an ostentatious chain. Thank you to the vendor for a happy ending. We highly recommend this chain.

Only complaint would be that the soldered loop that the clasp hooks into is quite small, which is fine when adding a pendant, but I had to buy an extra ring to add to that part.

I haven’t worn this chain yet but it’s beautiful. I’m waiting to have an adjustment made on an earring to wear as a pendant so I’ll give an update after wearing for a while.

This chain is beautiful! I bought this to replace the chain on a necklace I had gotten for mothers day that had already broken. It was packaged well, and it even comes with little baggies for other pieces. It is sturdy, and has a good thickness to it but not bulky. I havent taken it off since I got it, and the clasp is still holding strong. BONUS for customer service! Shortly after I received my necklace I also received a personal email from them making sure there were no issues with my purchase. Very sweet! Great product, great company that wants to take care of their customers. I will purchase from them again!

I absolutely LOVE this company's sterling silver chains and own 8-10 of them in different lengths and styles. They are real sterling silver, though, so they tarnish over time. Thus, I was thrilled to see rhodium plated options available and immediately bought a 20" one for the pendant I wear daily. Unfortunately, the color is not shiny or bright, but more of a matte finish. I thought maybe it was an anomaly b/c I have a rhodium plated ring I wear often that is very shiny/bright so I ordered another rhodium chain in a different length. Same thing. So I'll stay with the non-rhodium version and keep cleaning off the tarnish. If you've got the right cleaning cloth, it's fairly quick anyway. But this company's chains are excellent quality. The box chain is my favorite, but their other styles are quite nice too. And importantly, my long hair does not get caught in the chain or clasp even when I sleep in them.

My Fiance' & I both, are quite peaquior people when it comes to Quality items. After wearing these continously on a daily basis, We are both very pleased with the Quality and Comfort. Both of these 925 Sterling Silver Necklaces were ordered through Amazon Prime Online. It was one of my first times to order Jewelry without Physically trying them on. I also had done a little researched & read the reviews on both of them as well. Prior to those order(s), I had originally purchased a 925 Sterling Silver chain that was made in Italy for My Fiance', and it's Quality & Craftsmanship were Excellent as well. 😁
