ZEAK 13000lb Platinum Winch Synthetic Rope Winch, 12V DC Power Waterproof Winch for Towing Jeep Truck Off Road, 2 in 1 Wireless Remote

Read it all. First of all, I did have to modify the bumper for the Zeak Platinum 13k winch. Hindsight (first time Jeep owner), I would modify the QRC bumper first before installing the winch. This winch is a standard bolt pattern & is the same size as the Badland Apex 12k winch. I used a Sawzall to cut the angles on the bumper. I also had to drill new holes 1" forward in order to put my grille back on. The Solenoid box does have to be loose to be able to get the jeep grille back on. This winch does not come with a breaker like the Premium model does. I installed the switch & an ANL 300amp fuse & bought 400amp fuses incase. The bumper is rated at 10,000lbs, so at 300amp it will pop some where around 9,000 & not rip it off the Jeep. I did install the Zeak 13k Premium first & the ground lug got stripped & non-repairable. Zeak was very good at responding & showed concern. They refunded immediately & sent a shipping label. I opted to get the Platinum because it looked like it would be a better fit for the grille/cables concern. The cables shoot down instead of straight back & is better & a cleaner install. The Wireless remote & cable work great & the wireless/cable lights are correct. I like the remote with the premium better ... it is 10 times bigger. I cannot give any real world opinions on the winches capabilities, but there are others out there that have & it is a quality winch. Now about warranty ... it does come with a 1 year warranty. The Badland Apex comes with a 90 day warranty & the Warn winches come with a Lifetime Mech & 7 year electrical. For the price & the Quality, the Zeak is a much better option!

I was very impressed with this winch. I had a Rugged Ridge 9500 lb winch that was on my jeep when I bought it, I know it was a lower-end winch but it worked when I needed it. I wanted an upgrade to a synthetic line and a wireless remote winch. After doing a lot of research I found the Zeak winch. In real-world testing, this winch stood up to even the Warn winch and surpassed many other named brand winches. This sold me on giving it a try. At right around $500 it is priced much less than other winches that did not perform as well in testing. I am very happy with how it came, loaded with everything needed to do the installation, including a cut-off switch! I did a quick video review in my backyard and have not used this in recovery yet but I have no doubt that it will perform very well. This is a waterproof winch that has a 2 in 1 controller. you can use it wired to the winch or the same controller will work wirelessly with the push of a button.

Nicely packaged with all you need to install. Really like the wireless remote. Haven’t put it to the test yet but it looks well made so time will tell.

This winch is amazing, extremely durable, heavy duty Well-built. it’s everything you expect in a winch. waterproof & you have the option to use it wired or wireless! Very strong synthetic rope, way more safer and durable than the steel lines. It comes ready right out of the box. All the wires are ready lined up to the winch so it makes it easier to install to your vehicle. All you need to do is hook up negative and positive. not only is this winch made tough like a winch is supposed to be, the design is very nice looking! it looks good on any jeep, truck, can-Am, or off-road vehicle. Tow capacity is 13,000 pounds! That’s a big upgrade from the previous SmittyBilt 9500lb still line which I previously had. So far I used it once to help a Offroad buddy out of the snow, and it worked like a charm! Knowing this winch won’t let me down, I would definitely buy it again and recommend it to all my fellow off-roading community.

Very straightforward design for installation. Before you install it on your bumper, depending on the design and size of predrilled holes/slots, you may need larger washers. The cutoff switch near the battery is a nice design, so you aren't loading the cables with power until you need it. The rope is quality, and the build quality of the winch is great. The wired remote is simple to use, and I look forward to the first use on the trail. The supplied wiring is very heavy-duty and properly terminated with strong ends. Very happy so far.
