As several other reviewers have noted, this is not a mixing console for serious professionals. You're not going to be mixing a hit album on it. This isn't to say that a more experienced user wouldn't be able to find uses for a simple and really small mixing console--there's nothing better than gear that is functional and portable. Ultimately, however, this is for the novice or 'recreational user'.It might not be 'pro quality' but there's really a lot packed into the small and reasonably priced unit. It offers multiple input/output methods and works out of the box in WIndows, Mac and Linux. I had no problem getting it up and running on my office PC running Ubuntu. The product description does a thorough job running through all of the specs but the bottom line is that multiple input/output/transfer methods = serious versatility and a device that will work effectively for most users. It even connects to mobile phones and can even support multiple mobile phones. Note that it doesn't have the adapters/cables for this but if this is what you want to use it for they're easy enough to find. I liked the fact that it can be powered by multiple sources which further adds to its versatility.Documentation could be improved--particularly given that it's a device that will end up as a 'first mixing console' for many novice users. The interface is a bit cluttered and would likely be confusing to someone just learning to use a device like this. Obviously, the device documentation can't provide exhaustive instruction but it would definitely be possible to include some key concepts and an overview of what does what. A carrying case or at least a protective bag would be nice but that's a minor gripe given the value price point.Ultimately, this is a unit that provides a ton of functionality and versatility for a serious value price. For what it is, it's a pretty impressive unit that checks a lot of boxes for most novice and recreational users. Highly recommended!

So bought for at home karaoke however thought that a dynamic mic would plug into this desk through xlr but alas nope. Going to try and use an xlr to 1/4 adapter and try again. There are instructions but not as clear as I hoped. Will update on outcome soon!Yes sent it back for a refund. No preamps in the unit to power the dynamic mics.

You know going in this is not the API 2448 (~$155k) 40 channel studio device. That said, it does what it says, it's not overly complex, and that's why I give it 4 stars. I took one off because I feel like the output volume is just too low. Yes, you can correct that with software.What I liked:- It's small and light. I have a SD card sitting on top of the left XDR out if you want to judge size. There's no heavy power supply which makes it very portable. I'm guessing it weighs about the same as the Shure Beta 58A mic I tested with.- It runs off USB, so when you plug it into the PC, you don't need external power. But you do need to make sure you choose if you want PC connectivity or record to MP3 via the switch on the back. I assume this has to do with how it exposes the device via USB.- It supports up to 4 mics, so my kid can run his multi-mic pod cast with this mixer and be happy.- The headphone port is 3.5mm, so all your old ear buds work fine.- I recorded myself on both my PC (using Audacity) and my work Macbook Pro M2 with Adobe Audition. I'm not sure Mac is considered a supported device, but it worked for me on a 5 year old PC running Windows 10 as well as the latest Macbook Pro.- It comes with the USB cord (guessing about 3 feet long) which has a 110v adapter if you want to capture to USB stick you plug into the top of the mixer instead of connecting to the PC.- It also didn't introduce a hum/buzz like other lower end mixers I've tried.What I don't like:The output volume. It's just too low. The audio editor will have to correct it. That's not hard to do, and maybe they did this on purpose. I just happen to not like it like that.As a budget unit, there's much to like.I think the kid is going to dig it, and that's what's important.

Pretty nice 6 channel mixer. This one has 4 XLR inputs with phantom power and one stereo input for 1/4 inch or RCA. The first 4 can also accept 1/4 inch inputs. Gain control works well, the EQ is just 2 channel but it works ok, and the first 4 channels have an adjustable effects send built in. The effects aren't groundbreaking but they add a lot to just a plain guitar or vocal if you are looking for a compact mixing solution for home or small gigs.Noise is not too bad, with good quality cables it's hardly noticeable and better than what I was expecting at this price point. One very cool feature is the record function, which makes it easy to do a quick recording of your practice session or performance and save to a USB drive or computer. There is also a built in USB interface that works well on Windows or Mac and allows a digital audio workstation to take the audio from each channel and record to separate tracks. Finally, there's a Bluetooth function which allows you to mix, send audio, and other things but I only tested the basics since that's not a feature I really use a lot.For the price, this board has a lot of features and is great if you just need 4 or 5 input channels. It's very compact and easy to travel with but I'm not sure how durable it is if you are taking it to different venues. For home use, it's great because it has the built in effects and makes it easy to record scratch demos without involving a computer if you don't want to.

Over all it’s a fair portable mixer…Effects are 4 over all:1st effect is high pitch 2nd is low pitch 3rd is squirrel and after that 4-24 is how much echo and reve intensity.

El paquete vino sin precintar ni envoltorio, con las eriquetas de transporte en la misma caja.Se veia bien, todo y ser una caja de plastico, pero ya el alimentador usb no cabe en una base de enchufe por lo grande que es, despues la conexion posterior si la conectas a pc solo es a nivel cargador y no transfiere datos.El sonido es extremadamente metalico, con muy bajo nivel de volumen y ganancia aunque le pongas micros de alta gama.Los efectos poco variados y bastante artificiales sin apenas variacion del eco y reber en sus 24 tipos.Aunque tangas las perillas de efecto a cero, continua teniendo los canales parte del efecto.Total, que procedo a su devolucion por los datos mencionados anteriormente y la tan baja calidad de sonido, parece un juguete infantil. NO LA RECOMIENDO

Von den Funktionen her einwandfrei, aber der Ausgangspegel ist schon extrem schwach. Ohne guten Verstärker oder wirklich „fette“ Aktivbox kommt keine Freude auf.Ich habe ihn mit einer Teufel Rockster betrieben, da geht es gerade so. An einen älteren Verstärker angeschlossen, kam keine echte Partystimmung auf.
