Many of the negative reviews I saw were just because people didn't get good cards. If you plan on getting this, you have to know it comes with only 8 random packs, so there is a chance you won't get great pulls, that's how it goes with these things. Whether or not you get good pulls, you can't deny the value here. The material and quality of the box itself is very good for holding cards and the dividers are very helpful for organizing your cards. The poison, burn, and GX counter is a nice acrylic plastic, and the sleeves are good looking too. It's also nice to get the dice it comes with for damage counters and and as a substitution for a coin to flip. My favorite part of the box is the pack of energy's it comes wit because I always need energy for my decks and it can be annoying to buy theme decks for most of my energy. Overall the quality of this box and it's materials are very nice, and great for beginners getting into the game.

This Sun & Moon Elite Trainer Box was supposed to be new. It arrived missing the outer packaging with the Player's Guide and card box in a plastic bag. The card box was taped shut with stickers, which damaged the box when removed. Inside the box were 70 cards + 45 energy cards. The booster packs had already been opened.

Collector here, bought the item again after an original unhappy purchase.Original Review: Received an official, sealed box sourced from Super Special Awesome Cards. All items inside were accounted for.However, there was significant edge damage to the outer sleeve, bad enough to be considered a deal breaker for any collectors out there. The $10 saved means nothing when you have to buy another box anyway. 3/5 stars.Revised Review: I took the gamble and bought again since retailers around me seem to be moving on from S&M Base Set items. This time the box was being sold by Ace Syndicate. Box came sealed and in EXCELLENT condition, with all items inside accounted for. 5/5 stars. (inconsequential to rating but I also got excellent pulls, so very happy all around)Average between the two would place it at a good 4/5 stars. Checking seller reviews revealed that Super Special Awesome Cards has had a few other damaged box reviews around the time of my purchase, while Ace Syndicate showed the opposite. There are also some other reviews here that claim their packs/boxes were tampered with. So to be safe always remember to CHECK YOUR SELLER REVIEWS!

These elite trainer boxes are always fun and make great gifts for new players. You get 8 booster packs, a set of card sleeves, a set of dice to use as damage counters and one for coin flips, a guide book, and a set of acrylic special condition markers (including the new GX attack marker). The counters and markers are a huge upgrade over the punchout paper counters you get with theme decks. The box itself is nice and includes some dividers so it can be used for card storage. Out of this box we ended up pulling 8 reverse holos, 2 holo rares, and one regular art GX (Solgaleo), which I consider a pretty good haul from eight packs. Given the cost of 8 booster packs by themselves, you're not really paying a lot more to get the accessories in this set. My kids love getting these.

Even though I only pulled one Ultra Rare out of it but everything was in great shape and it’s always fun to open packs. It’s not sold by the original Pokémon Cards company, but it is still in great condition and a great price.

If you like cracking packs, I think this is one of the most fun ways to do so. I usually get pretty decent pulls from the elite trainer boxes. I like that they include sleeves, and the box holds everything. These are a great idea for anyone who likes collecting and playing the Pokemon tcg.

This would be a one star review but the fact that it came with the card sleeves saved it. I did not pull anything good from this at all. Don't buy it unless you want card sleeves and some dice.
