Leather craft kit
This kit is very good, it is only missing the molding/forming tool.

Great for getting started
I picked up this kit because it seamed to have what was needed to get started. I new to learning working and didn’t want to spend a bunch of money just to see the f this was something I could do and enjoy doing. This kit worked out great as it had everything I seeded to make my first project, a card holder. Over all, a good value for the money and I would recommend.

Great starter kit but it’s just that, a starter kit
Pros: This kit has pretty much everything you need to start leather crafting and I’m impressed with what I’ve made with it. The quality is decent and you will probably use enough of the tools to justify buying it even though you probably won’t use them all. Cons: As I said, the quality is decent but hardly great. I’ve had mine for about 2 months, I’ve churned out a couple rifle stock wraps, and a couple holsters and most of the tools have done well. The stitching awl is bent already, and not terribly sturdy, but my real complaint is the stitching chisels. They are easily bent, and even more easily dulled. Get a gel chisel mat if you’re going to use them to fully penetrate the leather. If you’re only using them to mark the stitch points and follow through with the awl they may last longer but the awl may not. Final thoughts: Depending on what you will be making this may be perfect for you, especially if you’re not sure if you’re going to do much leatherworking or will be making light products intermittently. For me I discovered I’m good at it and am making a lot of things and they’re all fairly heavy duty and have replaced/added to a number of things already. If I had to do over again, I probably would buy most of the pieces separately. I mainly use a stitching chisel, a handheld hole puncher, a foldable utility knife from Home Depot, a skiving tool, stitching needles, awl, mallet, edge beveler, and stitching groove tool. All of that will probably cost a bit more than this kit but if you end up buying the kit and the extra stuff anyway then you’re still ahead.

A Good Beginner's Kit
I just started into leather crafting and this kit is a great starter kit for beginners. I have several old knives from my teen days and want to remake sheaths for them. This kit has all the tools to do good leather work from a hobby knife and blades to edgers, needles and thread, to mallet and decorative leather stamps. I especially like the carrying case so I can keep everything in one spot.

Quality not great
Good for beginners to get a feel of how they work but like most people say, the quality of each tool is not great!! So if you want to seriously get into leather work, save yourself the money and time and by better quality tools. They will be sharper, make your work faster.

Very nice kit
Have zero complaints. The tools are all seemingly well made and good quality. The only issue I had is the Exacto blade unfortunately broke - it’s a hollow aluminum tube with plastic core - but I feel I was over doing it with the amount of pressure I was applying. Recently started making small falconry equipment out of leather and found everything I needed in this kit outside of dyes and glue. Would definitely recommend for someone that wanted to get into leather crafting and doesn’t want to mess around buying things piece by piece.

Great kit, except for the punches
Overall the kit is a great value, with plenty of useful tools, that I’ve used for my Biothane and leather work. The only thing that I can tell you with a one hundred percent certainty is that the punches included are absolutely useless. Like they wouldn’t cut through butter if they were hot. Took out the dremel and filed them and they worked well. Also take the disk off the mallet or put some loctite on it, seriously it kept falling apart during a simple job. All in all after I made the necessary adjustments to the punches and hammer it was a wonderful kit.
