Amtico Matt Finish Floorcare Refresh Kit, 1 x Matt Dressing 1lt, 1 x Stripper 1lt

Every year I use Amtico stripper on my wood effect Amtico floor and then reseal with the Dressing. The wood effect has slight indentations that catch dirt and that are difficult to clean with ordinary mops, e-mops, etc., so once a year I get down on my hands and knees and use a scrubbing brush with the stripper solution and it works brilliantly. (It's also a very good exercise for the lower back). The dressing keeps the floor easy to clean until the next annual floor clean event.

I’ve used these products on a brand of LVT called Ultimo, which is white labelled and sold under various names in retailers in the UK.After installation I had quite a lot of residual glue left around the place, soap and scrubbing wasn’t working so went for a more extreme approach using diluted acetone with a microfibre cloth. This isn’t recommended as it can damage the finish of plastics. Whilst I cannot be certain, I believe the acetone I used had damaged the factory finish of my flooring, or at the minimum had given me shiny spots in various places of the floor when looking at certain lights.After a bit of a panic I decided that I should see what these Amtico products would do and thankfully they restored my floor entirely. I used the stripper first just to make sure I had anything off ahead of using the dressing.The dressing was straight forward to apply, I followed the instructions and used a microfibre mop head to apply.Once dried, everything looked fantastic. I’m very happy! It’s been down for about a month now and still looks solid outside of some markings which I expect will vanish when I go back and strip/dress the floor next time.
