Tanin Auto Electronix Replacement Amber LCD Screen | 2003-2009 Porsche Cayenne & Volkswagen Touareg | Instrument Cluster Center Display

Perfect replacement for my dead cluster display. The video instructions for removing the cluster and then replacing the display are very helpful. If you have the right tools it's a straight forward job. The display came well protected and in good time considering that I'm half way across the globe. Removing the cluster from the Cayenne is a bit cumbersome. But replacing is much quicker. However the most important part is properly aligning the screen and not cracking it under the metal frame. Do it slowly and it will be fine. Now display is clear, bright and very stable. Old one flickered regularly.

This screen came well packaged and on time. There is a defect in the screen that is about 1/4 inch wide vertically down the center of the screen. All other pixels work well. Contacted the seller and after about a week of back and forth emails, he blamed the problem with installation. I am a technician by trade and researched the install through the seller's youtube channel and others. I was very very careful with the unit and installation. I am disappointed in the seller's response.

This is a quick and easy fix for dead LCD displays. CAREFUL to not break it, it's fragile, but if you follow the instructions warn you. Watch the YouTube videos, BE PATIENT, they are simple to disassemble but very easy to break fragile plastic parts when you take it all apart. Works 100% perfect after install, exactly what I needed to bring life back to my Cayenne.

Received fast and well packaged with instructions and link to online video with easy step by step instructions. LCD screen works great and display is bright and clear, excellent replacment over OEM.

It’s garbage didn’t even work. Fresh out the bag no cracks no visible damage. Nothing just no lights. Nothing absolute garbage now I have an upset customer and a bunch of waste of time. I’ve replaced these over the years multiple multiple times Never had an issue with factory. Try the one crappy Amazon version and boom waste of $142.

Less than 9 hours ago, this product was laying in a warehouse in Louisville Kentucky. 10 hours later, it’s in my truck illuminating my instrument panel like brand new. Absolute perfect replacement.

I was worried that something would "change" being an aftermarket part but this works perfectly and even retains the color changing from amber to red like when you shut off the car and the Porsche logo appears at top
