Quirky Pivot Power 2.0 - Flexible and Bendable 6 Outlet Surge Protector - Pink

The product I received does NOT have the power button that provides a way to turn on/off the outlets. Also it is slightly dome shaped on the bottom which means it slides easily on any surface it is on. Both are a drawback for the use I have for it. Soo... I will put the two I bought in service where it does not matter and re-purpose the ones already in use. I will study carefully and not buy this version of the product again.

This is for the 6-outlet Holiday green power strip. I very quickly discovered that this power strip does not have a switch to power down the outlets - if you want to turn them off you have to unplug the strip. Fortunately for my use case this will not be a problem because I'm plugging it into a switched outlet. I just thought others should be aware of this. Until now I didn't even know unswitched power strips even existed so I didn't think to look for that.

The Quirky plugs I had in the past worked for a few years, long enough to be worth what I paid. The flexibility is useful as well and they roll up and travel well. They work well and look cool.I would have given this 5 stars, but the power light on the black ones is a bright blue. It's so bright that it noticeably changes the lighting in our bedroom at night. I've had to turn the plugs over so that the light doesn't shine up and distract. It'd be great to have a less bright light or a less intrusive color. I'll probably end up putting electrical tape over it eventually.

I like Quirky products and I've got a few. They've never let me down. When I was confronted with the problem of fitting a power strip under a cabinet, but not having much room to work with, I searched out Quirky products knowing they were made for situations exactly like this. This flexible, bendable outlet was just the thing. It curves around the back leg of the cabinet and is very inconspicuous. There's no lights on it to show even. To be clear, this is only a power strip and not a surge protector so if you need surge protection, you'll have to look elsewhere. For my needs, this was fine as I don't have any high end items plugged into it. What I like especially is this power strip is compact, yet you can easily plug big block plugs into this and it wont hamper your use of the other outlets.

I needed a surge protector to be located high on a wall so that the plugs going into it could reach it. I didn’t want to screw a traditional power strip into the wall or back of my new cabinet. Luckily I saw this flexible surge protector.I purchased an outlet shelf, plugged my cords into the surge protector, bent it so it looks like an upside down U and have it resting on the outlet shelf. Perfect! I wouldn’t have been able to do this with a traditional straight surge protector.This product seems very durable. It is flexible but sturdy - it holds its shape. I’m very pleased with it.

Have a larger [6-port] Quirky that has an on/off switch that turns the entire strip off. Wish I had ordered another brand that had a surge protector & on/off button. Will order a replacement & use this as a 'gang' plug-in. Other units also have USB ports & longer cords. Like the brand, not satisfied with this unit.

I have ordered three or four Quirky Pivots by now. They are fantastic surge protectors. No more space concerns with multiple devices and because it is articulated you don't have that nightmare as with the traditional straight brick-like surge protectors. This is excellent and the only brand I buy now... as my old surge protectors reach their end of life, I am replacing them only with the Quirky Pivot. High recommend.
