How many gpm are needed to generate 12v dc?

Had a Home Depot bucket with a 3/4” hose hooked to the turbine and the best we could do was 3 volts. The bucket was about 7ft above the turbine. Enough to light an LED but that’s about it.

Does it make eighty volts

My idea for this is to charge my cell phone whilst going down a river in my kayak, anyone know if the current needs to be like 50psi or no?

can't answer your question but that's a pretty kewl idea. i would choose something else myself. i think they have eaiser options out there. this would need a bit of modding. take care
